Interlaken Hotels with Bars

"The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Interlaken West train station, with a COOP supermarket right downstairs. The room was clean but it was really hot in mid-June, the heatwave in Europe this year was no joke. Luckily, it only started on the day I flew back home. Most hotels here don't have air conditioning or fans, so you'll need to bring your own. Also, the hotel breakfast was really substantial, good enough to keep me full until the afternoon."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Interlaken and would highly recommend it. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the common areas and bathrooms. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, giving me plenty of space to relax and unpack after long days of exploring. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk from the train station, which made arriving, leaving, and taking day trips completely stress-free. There was also a spot to refill drinking water nearby, which was such a handy little touch, especially before heading out for a hike."

"This hotel, 'Pillow Brother' (Zhen Ge), was the best during our trip to France and Switzerland. The facilities are quite new, and the price is reasonable. It's a 15-minute walk from Interlaken Ost station, which made taking the scenic train and boat tours incredibly convenient. We didn't even use our car for three days because of this. Across from the hotel is a large grassy field, with the famous Jungfrau mountain visible in the distance. We could clearly see the weather at the summit, which was really helpful for planning our itinerary. Parking was 9 Swiss francs per night, which is quite affordable. The hotel staff were polite, and one even greeted me in Chinese, saying 'Ni Hao'. Overall, it was the best hotel in terms of all-around conditions."

"First, let's talk about the location. From Interlaken Ost station, turn right and walk straight for about 280 meters, and you'll arrive. Actually, you don't even need to exit the station; just walk to the end of the platform, and it's much closer. We discovered this later and always used that route – just make sure you know which platform to walk along directly, avoiding the underground passage. Second, the hotel service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They gave a thorough introduction to the hotel and important notices, specifically mentioning not to put food waste in the bins. For self-catered food, there's a dedicated dining area (Pic 8) where they provide free plates and cutlery, which you just need to return to the bar counter after use. We had to book a suite because all other rooms were full. The room was quite spacious, with a small balcony offering a nice view of the mountains behind (Pics 1, 2). The bathroom had a massage bathtub with lavender and ice salt available, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was served in the back garden, and the setting was lovely. The only drawback was that the temperature hit 30 degrees Celsius during our first few days, and the room had no air conditioning. (Hotels with AC are rare there, which is understandable, but I still hope they'll improve this in the future, especially with global temperatures rising). After contacting the front desk, they provided a fan, which helped a lot. In the following days, the temperature dropped, and it was fine; after all, it gets cool in the mountains at night. The hotel's decor style truly resembles a vintage European hotel. Plus, there's a row of seats and tables outside the entrance, which is a great spot to sit and enjoy the street view in the evening. Directly opposite the hotel is the cable car station for the Harder Kulm viewpoint, and Hohematte Park is just a short walk away. Third, directly across from the train station is a large Coop supermarket that has pretty much everything. As others have mentioned, the roasted chicken is indeed cheap and delicious, about 7 CHF for half a chicken. It closes at 7 PM, but there's also a smaller Coop supermarket inside the train station that closes at 9 PM. It has fewer varieties than the main one, but it still covers basic food needs, even if the selection isn't huge."

"My stay was great, even though my tight schedule didn't allow me to experience the sauna. The shuttle to Taipei 101 runs once an hour in the evening, which was actually very convenient. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"This is a lovely hotel with a lot to offer. The location is truly excellent—close to public transport and within walking distance of the main station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and very clean.  The only area that didn't meet our expectations was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and the quality didn't seem to match the rest of the hotel experience. It was the one thing we were disappointed with. Despite the breakfast, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and comfortable rooms."

"Hotel Krebs is very conveniently located, just about a 3-minute walk from the train station, making it extremely easy to reach even with luggage. This was another lovely stay at Hotel Krebs, and it felt great to return once again. The staff were as kind and welcoming as ever, with consistently warm hospitality that made the stay very comfortable and familiar. Guests staying at the hotel receive a 10% discount at the hotel’s restaurant, which is also a well-known and popular restaurant among locals. The food quality and atmosphere make it well worth dining there. In addition, the hotel offers discounts on various activities in Interlaken, which is a nice benefit for travelers planning to explore the area."

"First, the hotel locations is very near to Interlaken West train station and it's walking distance to Interlaken city centre as well as Interlaken Ost. So it's great and easy access to most of the places like grindelwald, spiez, thun, and brienz. The hotel itself it's abit old and honestly I dont really like the bathroom as it abit like run out. The cupboard and hanger also having some dust which makes me feels uneasy. I booked room with single bed, it has window but because now they are doing some outdoor renovation which blocked the view outside my window, that's really like a minus point to me. Overall I think, with the price I pay, I should get a better hotels than this."

"We had a great stay in the Junior Suite, which was very suitable for three people. One of the beds was a sofa bed, but the mattress quality was still comfortable. We especially loved the mountain view from the rooms and could even enjoy the sunset right from our window or balcony without needing to go anywhere. We would also recommend trying their breakfast — it offers a wide variety of choices, including Asian options like rice and sauces. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a room we would recommend."

"Really great, well-equipped, excellent service, and very complete. It has a wonderful sense of history, and the staff are fantastic. They even gave us lots of complimentary items. I'd definitely choose to stay here again."
