"Location was great, we found ourselves walking everywhere from the hotel for every meal as the proximity to everything was so close. The room was very nice and bathroom had 2 types of shower heads, one that’s able to be handheld. If we ever travel back to Banff again I would stay here again."

Its location, slightly removed from the main street, ensures exceptional quietude. Stepping out, you're greeted by pine forests and valleys, exuding that quintessential Rocky Mountain charm. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with excellent soundproofing. The mattress, while on the softer side, provides ample support. I highly recommend opting for a Mountain View room; waking up to the sight of morning mist swirling around the peaks is incredibly therapeutic. The hotel's dining options are of high quality, especially the Eden restaurant, which is renowned locally for its fine dining. The pool, sauna, and gym are all well-equipped, and curling up by the lobby fireplace in winter is wonderfully cozy. Overall, while the Fairmont Banff Springs doesn't pursue an overtly luxurious style, its environment, views, and privacy are outstanding, offering great value for money. It's a consistently excellent choice in the Banff area."

"The room is small, the overall tone is darker, the air conditioner in the room is super noisy, no wonder earplugs are provided for guests at the bedside, the price-performance ratio is not as good as the newly opened Canoe suites, but fortunately it is located in the center of Banff Avenue, very lively, and there are many choices for eating and shopping around, so it can be said that it has no merits or demerits."

"Surprising cabin, we had a pleasant 2 nights here. The room was clean and tidy, the kitchen and living room were together, the bedroom was bigger than expected, and the bedding was very comfortable. There is heating, the fireplace can also be used, we asked the staff to help us make the fire. There are microwave ovens and induction cookers, simple kitchen utensils, we went to the supermarket to buy ingredients and made dinner by ourselves. In the evening, there was a deer eating grass on the lawn downstairs. The hotel has its own soup pool, which is very small, we are too tired to go soak. The staff is very welcoming and the old-fashioned door lock is not very easy to use."

"Great location, walkable to all the shops, in the town centre of Banff! The room was comfortable for a family of 4, the shower was decent. I like the spaciousness of the loft when you have so many luggages. The hot chocolate station in the evening is a nice touch. There is a famous farm & fire restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t get to try. The indoor parking is $5 CAD."

"I've been to Banff many times before, but always stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. This time, my family and I decided to revisit on a whim. Since the Fairmont was fully booked every day, we had to choose another hotel. I saw the Moose Hotel on Ctrip, with its underground parking and rooftop hot springs, and immediately booked a two-night stay. Upon arrival, we found the hotel to be right on the main street in the town center, which was super convenient for shopping. You can indeed drive directly into the underground parking garage and take the elevator straight up to all floors. After dinner, we enjoyed a free hydromassage in the rooftop hot springs and massage pool, washing away the fatigue from several days of driving. The hotel also provides three days of free bus passes for guests to visit nearby attractions. Our room was well-equipped. There was a kettle provided, and the water pressure for the shower was excellent, making for a very refreshing experience."

"Best priced accoms in banff during summer, very well equiped with shower gel, hot water, hair dryer, laundry, cafe for breakfast and dinner. Hostel provides free roam transit bus pass for routes 1, 2, 4, 6 and is valid for 3 days, very useful to get to town and around even lake minnewanka, two jack, johnson and cascade ponds! Comfortable room, top notch service."

"Great location, just a 3-5 minute walk to the Goose, Bird and Lemon store. However, I don't feel Banff is very safe these days. Be careful of thieves – I was followed by a group of strange kids all the way to the hotel entrance."

"Attractive and super clean room which was noisy at first but the hotel sorted it quickly, we really liked the space, the spa and the location was fine for us. Al good! Our only issue was that the service was a bit light on, but it didnt really bother us. We enjoyed our stay."

"I stayed for three nights. The room was quite spacious and clean, and it was great that it came with amenities like a kettle. The location was a bit average, right at the end of the town's main street, but I figured there wasn't much to explore in town anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. The front desk service was quite poor; the staff were expressionless. The first room they gave me was two floors above the hot spring pools. I wanted to change, but the front desk said there were no suitable rooms. After Ctrip intervened, they offered me another room, but I declined after seeing it was too noisy, being next to the road. Around 9 PM, after showering, it suddenly became very noisy. I realized a group of Indians had come to the hot springs and were playing music loudly from a speaker. I reported it to Ctrip twice, but it kept happening. The hotel then called me multiple times, offering to immediately switch my room (implying the speaker wasn't theirs, but they weren't doing anything about it). Since I was already asleep, I declined and agreed to switch the next day. I'd like to thank Ctrip customer service for their help here. I didn't fancy a Western breakfast, so for convenience, I just ordered à la carte coffee and toast from the hotel's ground floor, which turned out to be delicious! The price wasn't expensive either, highly recommended! The hotel's bedding felt a bit rough, and the air conditioning unit made a loud humming noise. These are areas that could definitely be improved."
