The riverway downstairs was renovated and built, and I would bear it without a river view. Construction began at 7:30 on the first day of the small holiday. I was awakened by the noise of the large equipment downstairs or something. I was irritable. I complained to the front desk. Going out to go shopping, I went back to the hotel at 3 pm and wanted to rest. The hotel is great. It's just a little far from downtown. I don't know Baoding, so it was too far from the city centre for me. The room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. No English available, but that was no surprise. The staff were very friendly though. They helped as much as they could given the language difficulties. A very nice hotel overall. I didn't get the chance to check the hotel facilities, but my room was great. If you are travelling, most places close reasonably early. So if you are looking for something to eat later than 8 o'clock, it will be a mission. Enjoy your stay.
