This is probably the best Premier Inn we have stayed in, our room was very clean and comfortable and was very quiet. Having an on-site restaurant and bar was a real bonus and the food was very good with plenty of choice and was always well stocked at breakfast , which was available between 7 am and 11 am so you didn’t have to worry about getting up early. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay . We like to stay at Premier Inn because you know what you’re getting but this hotel exceeded our expectations

Great stay as always but the heating in the hotel room is unbearable and the windows don't open. We have stayed here many times over the years and request that they turn down the heating in our room which they claim that they do but I assume its actually on a central system and that the staff don't want to deal with unhappy guests. Premier Inn please read the other review about the heat in the rooms and save some money on the heating bills and turn down the thermostat a little bit please.

This was our first stay in the Premier Inn Bangor. We booked here because we usually love a Premier Inn, we have stayed in quite a few over the years. This hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and the man who checked us in said we could adjust our meal booking to a meal deal as we had decided to eat in the hotel on the first evening. We had a bit of a debate with the Manager to change to the meal deal option. The restaurant was incredibly quiet, which might have been a bit of a clue. The meal was just ok. My husband had fish and chips, and I think because not many people were eating, the fryer wasn't very hot and the fish, although cooked, was quite greasy. I had the curry and it was ok. Breakfast the next morning was also just ok - the breakfast chefs were sharing a lot of banter and we noticed a couple of hygiene issues, probably because they were not really concentrating on their job. A dirty cloth was put down on the cooked sausages and one of the chefs was scratching his hair. In addition, a bottle of cleaning fluid was left sitting beside the cooked food. The food wasn't particularly warm despite sitting under heat lamps and the eggs looked very overcooked, so we avoided them. I don't like to complain about this sort of thing while we're on a break as it could have been a one off, and indeed breakfast on our second day was much better. The room was clean but the bed wasn't very comfortable for me personally. Although I turned the heat off in the room it was still very warm. We would recommend this hotel but probably suggest eating elsewhere.

Just back from staying at the hotel and it was one of the worst nights I have ever stayed here. Upon arrival room was made up for 2 people for tea and coffee only 2 mugs etc so had to get more mugs for children’s hot chocolate at bed time. There was 4 of us in the room and booked for 2 adults and 2 children. The pillows had dirty marks on them. The heat in the hotel and bedrooms was unbearable the air conditioning wasn’t working properly and the fact you can’t open the bedroom windows is so poor. My partner ended up down stairs most of the night simply because he was overheating. I had no sleep but stayed in the room with the children that was till 1:30am when the fire alarms went off and everyone had to evacuate. The bed we had wasn’t very comfortable just yet have a good night sleep policy. Breakfast time they don’t offer potato bread or soda bread so it’s not really a proper Ulster fry. Ive stayed here before many times and usually have an enjoyable time but sadly not on this occasion.

I am glad everytime I check in and see Roshan is working because I know I will be taken care of by him. Can’t praise this guy enough. An absolute gem in premier inns crown.
