Hotels in Chinatown, Bangkok

Love the location, just nearby the cafe and restos we wanted to try. Very nice view in their rooftop. Hotel is just few minutes walk to the MRT. Very busy and traffic at night due to the street foods but nothing to complain since that is our main purpose if staying in this hotel. Staff are nice and rooms are cleaned everyday. 711 and Boots just downstairs too, so its very convenient. Just a bit of disappointed that we experience a power interruption in one of the days of out stay and there are no proper announcement or note posted at least on their lift, luckily the power is back before midnight. Overall still happy with our stay!

From check-in, to check-out, this was an awful experience. At the check-in, they appeared to have no record of our booking and we had to show them the website we had booked with. The reception area looked authentic Chinese style and we had high expectations that things would continue with the same theme. This hotel is clearly a refurbished hotel and done with a Chinese twist (being in Chinatown it's not difficult to see why!), however it has been done on a very low budget and standard. The first (and in my opinion) the worst) fault is the room entrance door. It is a narrow double door and secured on the outside of the room (only) by a hasp and (very cheap) padlock. The hasp is secured by only 2 screws, so simply unscrew the 2 screws on the outside of the door - and you are inside, in seconds. Hardly a secure solution when all the guests possessions are in the room. Even without undoing the lock (or removing the hasp, the door pushes open (when locked) sufficiently to use a long rod or pole and 'hook' up the guests possessions inside the room. On the inside of the room door - there are 2 very poor quality bolts at the top of the door - which is the only means of securing the room when it is occupied and/or the guest is sleeping. The room is pretty small at 18sq.m but we knew that when we booked so cannot complain, and it overlooks a busy Chinatown side street which unfortunately has a steel fabrication shop a few doors away and we could hear steel being cut with electric saws from dawn to dusk. Then at dusk a couple of street food stalls opened up opposite the hotel, so there was the noise from that for half the night too, but we shouldn't complain as this is Chinatown. In the bathroom the floor seemed to be constantly wet and it wasn't long until we found out why. there is a wooden sink cabinet in the bathroom next to the shower (bad design there), but when the waste water was emptied down the sink drain, the waste water didn't go down the drain pipe where its connected to the wall, but instead emptied itself all over the bathroom floor. We complained about this to reception and a staff member came to look but said there was nothing she could do as neither a technician or a manager was available. We told her we were not happy about standing in waste water, and so she gave us a towel to put on the floor and stand on that instead! From the condition of the cabinet, this had been leaking for weeks or even months and was not a new problem. In addition, the shower spray hose holder was broken and the hand held shower was simply propped up against the wall. We read online that there was a bar/restaurant on the roof terrace and from the online pictures, looked lovely with all the red lanterns lit up at night - however when we went up there to the 5th floor it was in complete darkness, so we assumed was closed. We were going to ask at reception, however there was nobody on duty behind the reception desk, just a sign which read ”reception will return

Nice stay near to Chinatown but in quiet area, clean room with panoramic view, swimming pool is great

Very good service. Entrance and exit must be through the restaurant. But if the restaurant is closed, you have to go the other way behind the house. It's quite narrow, blocked by motorbikes. People with a lot of luggage may have a bit of difficulty. The property does not have a lift.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Seems the hotel has been there for a long time and to be honest it does feel a bit retro and outdated. The rooms aren’t soundproof so you can hear people in the hallways and sometimes other rooms. Location is okay, a very short walk to Chinatown for great food and the markets etc, There are many homeless people who seem to live on the same road as this hotel though. If you’re looking for something basic and relatively comfortable this is a nice enough spot.

Was a great experience. Room was great. I feel it has great value given the location as it is just right next to the Wat Mangkon MRT. Yaowarat Chinatown is less than 2min across the road. If you are going to IconSiam, Asiatique, Grand Palace and Wat Arun, all these are just within 4-6k away. Going to town is only a 6-8 train station to Sukhumvit station where you can join into BTS station Asoke to reach the shopping district. Great value in my opinion

My 2nd stay at this hotel. My wife likes it very much. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is within close proximity to a lot of street food options and a 5 mins walk to the nearest MRT station. Icon Siam is also very close to the hotel. Will come back again to this hotel in the future. Thank you for making our trip a memorable one.

Good location, for the train,bus and night market in chinatown. good for the pocket, especially when you are travelling with friends. The breakfast is quiet good, but if you stay longer in the hotel, hopefully they will upgrade their breakfast, its keep on repeating everyday. but all in all its woth it for the budget. The staff are good and polite.

Small single room (3×3m). Strong aircon, quiet, good water pressure, elevator close by. Restaurant/coffee shop near reception, and prawn noodle surprisingly good. Arrived from airport at 2am but very quick checkin - less than 1 minute.

Excellent service. Very cozy, nice and clean room. Loved that they have self service laundry & other facilities. Location is super close to Chinatown, just walk like 5 min and you will be at the famous Yaorawat Road. Lots of food and shopping nearby, plus 7-11 just few steps away.
