Bangkok Bang Kho Laem Hotels

The room was good, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. The room service was good, the house was clean very fast, there was a beautiful view from the windows outside. Indian food was available and was quite tasty. The staff were very friendly.

A long-established 16-story hotel in the district called Burncorem along Chern Krun Road in the center of Bangkok. As the hotel name ”River View” shows, it is located at the river front where the Chao Phraya River can be seen from the upper floor. It is characterized by the fact that the threshold is not as high as the super luxury hotel representing Bangkok around. The building is coordinated with a long-established hotel style and modern art design, and it is 々 novel. The guest rooms are given more than average space, and the view from the glass windows full of the guest rooms is wonderful. In addition, the bathroom was also about three tatami mats. Near the hotel, there is a regular market with the theme of food and shopping in Asian countries called Asiantic, so I would recommend using it as an outpost.

I recommend this hostel for those travelers / tourist who’s looking for place to stay.staffs are so kind and approachable , room is very clean and the location is so accessible in some tourist spot . I stayed in the Montien Riverside for four nights in February 2023, over the Valentine’s day period, staying in a Deluxe Corner Riverside room. Even though the Montien is an older hotel it still retains that “wow” factor, as it has been well maintained. The staff here are amongst the best of any hotel in Bangkok, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. My room was up on one of the higher floors with huge windows on each corner overlooking the Chao Phraya river, magnificent views, especially at night. Whilst there were signs of aging, particularly in the bathroom, the room generally had been maintained to a high level. The room was spacious, airy and had a touch of opulence. The bed was super comfortable and the rain shower had good pressure with very hot water. A nice touch was the free mini bar (soft drinks and snacks only). The grounds at the back of the Montien are quite beautiful, large lawned area next to the river and plenty of seating available to enjoy a cool drink or a meal. There is a van serving food in the evening and quite often piped or live music. A great place to chill out away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The hotel provides a shuttle service (one way) that runs parallel to the river and stops at all the key tourist spots such as Iconsiam. I had a wonderful stay at the Montien and would be happy to return. I would however like to mention a few areas that need improvement. The WIFI first. In my near twenty years coming to Thailand and staying in numerous types of accommodation from guesthouses to high end resorts the Montein has the worst WIFI I have ever encountered. So many times I had to switch to mobile network because of the poor or inconsistent signal. This obviously cost me money. For those whose livelihood are dependant on a reliable WIFI network then this place would not be for you. My second biggest gripe is that there are no power points by the bed, unbelievable and quite frustrating. I would have loved to have given the Montien five stars but because of the poor WIFI and lack of powerpoints I have deducted a point. Lastly, as a suggestion to management, why do you mot engage the service of a shuttle boat? You have a little dock in the river at the rear of the hotel and it would be a wonderful benefit to your paying guests. Apart form the negatives I mentioned above I can highly recommend the Montein Riverside for a relaxing stay with a touch of luxury.

This is hotel is truely worthy of its 5 star rating! Located approx 45 mins from BKK International Airport (1000 Thb for large/suv). Large apartment style room with cooking facilities and table etc. Excellent breakfast buffet (Western & Asian) with good quality food served daily. Hotel offers free shuttle boat service direct to iconsiam mall four times daily and every 30 mins to Sathorn MRT Station. If you don't want to wait on the direct boat service then take the free hotel boat to Sathorn and transfer onto one of the paid shuttle boats (30 Thb / person) to iconsiam. Remember what hotel house keeping used to like before covid? Well you can experience it one again in this hotel! General hotel areas and room was spotlessly clean. Everyday we came back the bedding had been changed....After a hot and humid day touring Bangkok coming home, yes home to our room was a real pleasure. Already looking g forward to a return visit next year!! Many thanks to the management team and staff who made thus such a memorable stay!!

Friendly services manager allocated the best view from their hotel where I can sighted the Asiatique sky wheel directly from my room window. Walking distance  to Asiatique and 15 min ride to Iconsiam shopping Center. Will definitely go back to that hotel again.

I stay here regularly and have to come here. It's close to everything. There are many restaurants in this area, so it's easy to find food. Another place to walk is Asiatique.

Booked a Superior Riverside room, which is more 'viewing the River from across the Asiatique car park”, as opposed to actually being Riverside, but we knew this before booking. Room consisted of a small kitchenette, consisting of a fridge, microwave & basic cutlery. A very large comfortable bed & a Large bathroom, with an excellent shower. Room looked a bit tired in some places, but in general was ok & was cleaned daily. Reception staff & concierge / car park security were excellent, very helpful & always polite. Your room key card gives access to the lifts, so only guests are able to operate them, which is a good security feature. Location is almost directly opposite, Asiatique the Riverfront. Which has plenty of places to eat, although it was fairly quiet when we visited, as it had only just re-opened the day before, after being closed due to covid. Also 250M walk away, is the Wat Ratchasingkhon Pier, for catching the Chao Phraya Express boats.

I had a great experience at Sali Hotel Riverside in Bangkok. The hotel is incredibly clean, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in, which was a nice touch. The views of the Chao Phraya River were breathtaking, and the amenities provided were satisfactory.The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, the one downside for me was the location. While the hotel does offer a ferry shuttle service, it only runs once every hour and is subject to weather conditions, which can be inconvenient. I feel the hotel would benefit greatly from having a more frequent shuttle service, ideally running from 9 am to 10 pm, to the nearest BTS station or a shopping mall. The buffet breakfast can also be further improve.. More variety will be better as I feel that there is not much variety.. Luckily they change the menu daily. This would make it more convenient for guests who want to explore the city without relying on the ferry alone.Overall, I had a positive stay, but a more robust shuttle service would definitely elevate the guest experience.

Hotel pros: Lovely entry. Restaurant access. There is a travel agent next to the hotel. Also there is a Lawson and 7 eleven close by to get your snacks or everyday needs. Beds are made daily. Staff members are respectful. Clean hallways. Hotel cons: Room is dated (old). No plug next to the bed. Plug in the bathroom can only use for shavers. In the entire room, you can only charge your electronics at one point in the room. It was quite annoying. I stayed for 6 nights and it was driving me crazy. If you will stay for longer and don’t mind, great. If not buy an extension cord. Rooms were a bit dusty. But not overly dirty. Walls could be painted. The shower in the bathroom has a tub and you have to be careful not to fall when getting in and out. Restaurant meals were the same everyday. So boring.
