About 5mins walking distance to train station and if you are carry luggage from train, would need to walk further up for the lift. About 10mins walk to MBK. Friendly reception and hotel might need some renovation.

Although it feels a little old, it is close to the station, the rooms are spacious, and it is in a very convenient location for going anywhere. It is within walking distance to the next station, Siam and Sanam Khila. There is also a boat on the Saen Saeb Canal, so it is very convenient. The reception is a little small, but the staff are very friendly. The yen is weak at the moment, so it feels more expensive than usual, but I would choose this hotel again.

Great location, i enjoy my stay in this hotel, unfortunately i don't have chance to use the swimming pool, cos my five days trip in Bangkok is too busy too much surprises, i enjoy the food, the night markets, for sure i will come again with my families very soon.
