very courteous and nice staff and cooks (especially Siva) nice location and very nice and clean rooms and a beautiful garten with view of the city . the food at breakfast und dinner is very tasty and has a large selection. I would recommend everyone to visite this hotel

De kamer was groot en schoon maar wel wat gedateerd, de douche was lekker. Het barretje was gezellig. Je kon zelf de muziek bepalen. Er is ook een dansvloer. Het eten in het restaurant was oke, niet heel bijzonder maar wel goed. In de ochtend kun je een ei laten maken en in de avond is er ook een kok aanwezig.

Wir haben im Hotel Orient 2 Nächte verbracht auf unserer Reise durch Sri Lanka mit Abstand bisher das schönste Hotel! Die Zimmer sind sauber und grosszügig. Die Massagen sind eine Wohltat und sehr zu empfehlen. Hervorzuheben ist definitiv auch die Küche! Das Essen ist extrem lecker! Ob gar nicht scharf (Hühnchen/Fisch auf der Gusseisenplatte) oder ein super leckeres Curry, einfach top! Ebenso ein Highlight ist das gesamte Personal, jeder, wirklich jeder der Angestellten ist so unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich als Gast hier wirklich wertgeschätzt. PS: Die Bar mit dem freundlichsten Barkeeper von Srilanka ist definitiv ein Besuch Wert.

Das Hotel ist etwas verwinkelt, aber hat einen wunderschönen Garten auf dem Hang über dem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind schön mit teilweile Terrassen oder nur Fenster, die aber komplett geöffnet werden können. Das Hotel bietet ein vielseitiges Buffet an, auch für den westlichen Geschmack. Die Bar und der Karaoke-Abend sind top 👌🏻

Das Hotel ist eher als einfaches Hotel zu beschreiben. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man kann zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Die Zugfahrt nach Ohya und die anschließende Wanderung zum world’s end war sehr abwechslungsreich. Begleitet wurden wir von dem sehr sympathischen Guide Pulendran, der uns alle Fragen beantwortet hat. Auch Manu war mit dabei, da er auch als Guide arbeiten wird. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Tag.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel und leckeres Essen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es könnte etwas sauberer sein. Auch die Bar war sehr schön und das karaoke Programm war sehr lustig. Etwas laut nachts durch die nahegelegene Straße aber sonst sehr angenehm

Wir haben in Begleitung von Pulendran die Zugfahrt bis Ohya und die Wanderung im Horton Plains unternommen. Seine humorvolle und engagierte Begleitung hat uns einen unvergesslichen Tag geschenkt. Herzlichen Dank dafür. Die Speisen im Hotel und der Service waren lecker und speditiv.

Zunächst einmal ist die Lage der Hotels super. Direkt in der Nähe ist ein Supermarkt mit Apotheke. Auch die kleine Stadt lohnt sich. In der 2. Etage des Supermarktes haben wir einen kleinen, leckeren Kaffee genossen. Nun das Hotel :) Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit (Grüße an Thilak). Sauber, ordentlich - alles top! Auf jeden Fall sollte man die Teeplantage mit dem Hotel besuchen. Das lohnt sich wirklich. Kleine Wanderung durch die Plantage und dann in der Fabrik den ganzen Prozess sehen. Alles wird top erklärt. Kleiner Tip: Lange Hose und geschlossene Schuhe. Wir haben auch mit dem Küchenchef zusammen gekocht. Sollte man auf jeden Fall auch machen. In dieser Art hatten wir das noch nie auf unseren Reisen! Klare Empfehlung :)

Geweldig hotel, goed verzorgd. super aardige mensen en fantastisch eten! Mooie tripjes gedaan in de omgeving Het is prachtig hier! We hebben genoten en gaan nu weer verder! Wat een prachtig land is Sri Lanka! Zeker om weer terug te komen!!
