Started with a long drive from Udomxay Train Station, about 30 kilometers and about 1 hour, running out of the city, into the countryside, crossing countless mountains until reaching the destination. The atmosphere of the room that I chose was truly surrounded by nature. On the balcony of the house, there was a waterfall flowing through. No matter how hot the weather was, when surrounded by nature, I could still feel the cool air all the time. The room was comfortable. There might be some insects, but the part that I didn't like was the hot water that was very difficult to adjust to be warm. Traveling from the house to the central part of the resort was quite far. You had to call a car to pick you up or get a bicycle from the reception to ride yourself. But the part that I didn't like the most was the food. The taste was not to my liking at all. The dishes were very big. But if it wasn't delicious, I couldn't eat it. But I had to eat it because there was nothing else to eat in that area. Until the last day, I tried Lao food and found that the food tasted better. Not very delicious, but much better. Another thing that I would like to improve is the service that sometimes takes a long time. For example, when I was in the room and wanted to order food, after calling, it took almost 1 full hour. Or talking to customers should be better, compared to the price of the accommodation.

The hotel is located in a nature reserve, on the mountain, where the air is very good and the starry sky is beautiful. The room is next to the creek and you can sit on the balcony, which feels very comfortable. Breakfast was good. There are more Europeans and Americans staying here. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort, a haven of nature and a real breath of fresh air. The rooms are lovely with views of the river, and falling asleep to the sound of flowing water is magical. Excellent cocktails, attentive staff. They also have delicious pizzas (which we didn’t expect to find here) baked in a wood-fired pizza oven. During the day, you can enjoy a walk to the waterfall in the beautiful Lao jungle through monkey bridges, fun times! A big thank you to the hotel director, Benjamin, who took us to see the estate’s museum. Best wishes to the whole team!
