We had a lovely, comfortable stay at Hillcrest. The location was ideal and we were able to find on street parking not too far away. The system for checking in and selecting breakfast options was really convenient and easy. Mark was very welcoming and the breakfast was fab, highly recommended.

What an absolute gem of a place. Lovely room which was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing with a choice of what time you wanted it. Very close to beach and castle with some fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Host was the nicest chap ever ... Definately will come back

We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at this lovely guest house in room no 1 , our room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and spacious with a sea view, it also had tea & coffee facilities. We had a choice of breakfast times and could choose in advance from the extensive menu, also included serve your self cereals, yogurts, toast, fresh fruit, very friendly service and would highly recommend.

Comfortable bed and room, clean, excellent breakfast, friendly host. The hospitality tray had a good selection of teas. Good location, you can walk to the restaurants and Bamburgh castle and beach On street parking, we managed to get our motorbike outside the front door.

We stayed for just the one night and from the moment we rung the doorbell to see if there were any vacancies for just one night was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much bother. The room was beautiful we had the whole of the top floor to ourselves and it was lovely and clean very comfortable, we had our own keys to get in so could come and go as we pleased in the morning we chose our own breakfast time and the breakfast was spot on too. Would highly recommend staying here, lovely place and a really lovely friendly guy . Very convenient to the the castle to about a 10 min walk away. In a beautiful little village. Look forward to coming again

Comfortable b&b with good breakfast choice well cooked. Plenty of very hot water, good location, friendly host. A little dated in decor but we enjoyed our stay and it met all our needs. Parking can be hit and miss as street parking no car park. Good contact through messages to explain how to access the property and what time the room was ready.

Stayed on first floor bedroom overlooking the street. Room is dated but has everything we needed for an overnight stay. Spacious room, comfortable bed, large bathroom with shower cubicle, excellent breakfast served by the owners friendly father. Only real issue was lack of parking, arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon, very difficult to find any on-street parking close to the guesthouse.

This is a great bed and breakfast guest house. Mark is very welcoming. Room is great. Lovely breakfast. I would fully recommend. Very quiet and super views from the bedroom. Great service. I would stay here again. It’s been a lovely experience. Very easy to book and check in.

Hillcrest House is a lovely place to stay, its situation is great for the castle, beach and places to eat, the room was clean and a good size, it had all you would need, the bathroom was spacious and also a good size. Our host Malcolm was very welcoming, a lovely man and did great breakfast. Mark the hosts son was also welcoming and made our booking easy. We would recommend a stay and look forward to a visit another time.
