Staff were unaware of the standard sofabed size and we were given a single bed sofa for two children. when asked told it was the standard size and we should have booked a suite. however next day staff moved us to double bed sofa . Food was good

The hotel’s parking lot became over crowded due to an event. Meaning we had to park in the airport’s car park and walk back.
Unfortunately the location of the hotel means that we were very close to the take off runway and we could hear planes all the time, the windows and walls were not soundproofed enough.
Lastly the pillows were rather uncomfortable as they were much too empty, felt like a ballon instead of an actual pillow.
Otherwise the room and the hotel were clean and the room service was actually surprisingly pleasant. The staff we encountered was friendly and helpful.
The food they served was really tasty as well.

The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly, apart from the location, although taking the airport shuttle to the airport wasn't a problem either. 🙂🙂🙂 If I fly to the UK again, the Holiday Inn Airport NEC was just the right place to relax and travel home relaxed.
