MUBAS MACHAAN BARNAWAPARAis located in a village called Barbaspur, 95 Kms from Raipur, 2 Km from Barbaspur Gate, Barnawapara wildlife Sanctuary. Our resort is strategically located on the edge of the national park. Surrounded by the lush green trees, it serves as a wonderful gallery for viewing wildlife. Located in northern part of Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the finest and important wildlife sanctuaries in the region. Established in 1976 under Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, the sanctuary is relatively a small one covering an area of only 245 sq km. the topography of the region comprises of flat and hilly terrain with altitudes ranging between 265-400 mts. The Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is widely known for its lush green vegetations and unique wildlife. The park displays a fascinating range of floral diversity that includes tropical dry deciduous forests and bamboo groves. There are other sundry floral species also. You will find valuable Teak trees, Semal, Mahua, Ber, Tendu, Terminalia and other miscellaneous species also. The unique lush green vegetation of the park makes it more attractive to its gazers. The persistent drainage system of the sanctuary is a source of sustenance of the wide variety of faunal species. Flying squirrels, Black Buck, Cobra, Python, Jungle Cat (Felis chaus), Leopard, striped Hyena, Jackal (Canis aureus), Indian Wild Dog (Cuon alpines), Sloth Bear (Melursus ursinus), Chital Axis, Sambar (Cervus unicolor), Muntjac (Muntiacus muntjak), Wild Boar (Sus scrofa), Gaur (Bos guarus) Nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus), and others are the commonly found wild animals. Other than the above-mentioned, you would also find a number of winged creatures like Herons, Parrots, Green Avadavat, Lesser Kestrels, Peafowl, Egrets, Wood Peckers, Bulbul, Racket-tailed Drongo and White-rumped Vultures. Location good, food good, hygiene is average. Safety is average. Activities available but in poor shape. No spa, no good quality cycles, safari in jeep starts from november. Some interaction with villagers is possible, no such attempt. Expensive in terms of activities and facilities offered.

When we reached the resort it was informed that us that they have rejected our booking. I showed my booking confirmation vouchers to them but they did not let us stay. It was really disturbing as we were in the jungle & had no place to stay. My money was debited & i am not able to contact mmt call center. Request you to kindly refund my money atleast.

Safety signs are missing, food servings utensils are of plastic. It not possible to reach destination in night time

Experience was nice. 4 of us friends went and it was fun. Prompt and courteous staff, clean and hygienic stay. Thanks to Mr. Ravin Rathore for an amazing safari experience and arrangements at the resort whenever needed.
