Hotels Near Ruthi jaya shop in Bali

Nice modern hotel overlooking the sea near the old Dutch harbour. The room and the shower cubicle are larger than they appear on the photos. For European travelers who are familiar with the concept of the Ibis hotels or Citizen M this hotel is no surprise. The staff is friendly and helpful and their English is good. The hotel only provides an Indonesian breakfast, buffet style. It is not an exciting one. The rooms are very clean. The outside terrace needs more attention from the staff. The pool seems nice, haven’t used it. Not many tourists in this hotel nor in Singaraja. The surrounding of the hotel is very authentic, including a Chinese temple nearby. Would stay in this hotel again.

The location is great not far away from sekumpul waterfall and Singraja center. The stuff we're so helpful. Only one thing, there was not hot shower in the standard room type. You've to upgrade to Deluxe room for hot water. (Shower)

Looks beautiful on the pictures but is very dated. Our room was not clean, stains on the walls, stains on the sheets. We had a moscito net over our bed which had small bloodstains on it and even small holes. The bathroom was very dated and really needs to be fixed up. The outside area is nice but still you see that not much maintenance has been done the last decades. The swimming pool is nice and clean. There is a small beach just below the hotel but it is very dirty and trashy. The location of the hotel is very isolated, there is really nothing to do in the neighbourhood. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and I would not go there again. The staff, however , is extremely nice and attentive, always willing to help en meets you with a smile.

Visit nearby Menjangan island, (claimed to be the best dive spot in Bali), snorkel over beautiful coral reefs, fish for exotic tropical fish or take a day out and fish for marlin and tuna. For those who like exploring take a day trip to Bedugul traditional markets and on the way call in at Munduk and view a giant tree claimed to be 750 years old, visit Pura Ulan Danu temple on picturesque Lake Bratan and finish off with a visit to the botanical gardens. Guests can dine at our world class beachfront restaurant or take a short walk and enjoy Indonesian cuisine at any one of a number of local restaurants. For for the more adventurous you can enjoy Indonesian food with the locals in ”eat street” where the locals enjoy alfresco dining. Alternately take a short car ride to Central Lovina where there are a number of quality restaurants serving a variety of food

This was our first time stay at the Puri Saron in Lovina, North Bali. On our arrival we were offered a welcome drink by staff who were so friendly and happy. Our luggage was wheeled away, and we followed. We meandered through beautiful, lush gardens, past an infinity pool which overlooked the sea to a room that also had a sea view. Settling into our room it was bigger than we thought, more like a little Villa complete with a lounge suit and coffee table, a wall mounted flat screen TV, and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Within the bathroom was a pleasant surprise an inside/outside shower. There was also a shower above the bath. Although the Hotel has a good number of accommodations, the spaces seemed to be designed where it felt quite intimate. Around the grounds we also enjoyed areas to sit where I read my book, a Bale where we drank morning coffee, a swinging love seat by the sea to sit and relax to the soothing sound of the waves also a table and chairs outside our front door. The food was great, some days breakfast was buffet on other days it was Ala Carte. Both choices were plentiful and delicious We often had lunch and dinner at the Hotel as the food was fresh, with good choices being western and local and good value for money. The Puri Saron is located so you can easily visit Singa raja, go on a trip to Banjar Springs, shop for all your gifts in the one place at the big airconditioned Krisna Centre or simply spend your day at the Puri Saron. The staff and Location make this joint. The rooms are very good, large and well maintained, The Pool Villas are private and whilst at the moment they have some construction going on, you honestly would not know. The staff will run you into Lovina beach proper every day, and quite a few venues will come and pick you up and drop you back. The only downside to this place is the food. They need to get back to basic and serve the wonderful dishes that people travel to Bali for, forget the westernized menus of Burgers and Ribs etc. Serve a more traditional menu, Breakfast was pretty good. But the restaurant was the only reason this place did not get 5 stars. The staff are the best asset this place has.. a very relaxing time in Lovina, fix the Restaurant and you have a 5 star property in every way. Lovina is very laid back, no yells of ”transport” or ”taxi” no hassling from eager vendors, some polite questions as you walk past an outlet, nothing more.. A great spot for a chill out.

Lovely resort with great facilities and very hospitable and friendly staff. Beautiful sunset views. Too far to walk into the main area of Lovina beach due to the busy road but only a few minutes away in a taxi which was very good value.
