Hotels Near PLANET BAN. SUDIRMAN in Bali

Looks beautiful on the pictures but is very dated. Our room was not clean, stains on the walls, stains on the sheets. We had a moscito net over our bed which had small bloodstains on it and even small holes. The bathroom was very dated and really needs to be fixed up. The outside area is nice but still you see that not much maintenance has been done the last decades. The swimming pool is nice and clean. There is a small beach just below the hotel but it is very dirty and trashy. The location of the hotel is very isolated, there is really nothing to do in the neighbourhood. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and I would not go there again. The staff, however , is extremely nice and attentive, always willing to help en meets you with a smile.

Visit nearby Menjangan island, (claimed to be the best dive spot in Bali), snorkel over beautiful coral reefs, fish for exotic tropical fish or take a day out and fish for marlin and tuna. For those who like exploring take a day trip to Bedugul traditional markets and on the way call in at Munduk and view a giant tree claimed to be 750 years old, visit Pura Ulan Danu temple on picturesque Lake Bratan and finish off with a visit to the botanical gardens. Guests can dine at our world class beachfront restaurant or take a short walk and enjoy Indonesian cuisine at any one of a number of local restaurants. For for the more adventurous you can enjoy Indonesian food with the locals in ”eat street” where the locals enjoy alfresco dining. This was our first time stay at the Puri Saron in Lovina, North Bali. On our arrival we were offered a welcome drink by staff who were so friendly and happy. Our luggage was wheeled away, and we followed. We meandered through beautiful, lush gardens, past an infinity pool which overlooked the sea to a room that also had a sea view. Settling into our room it was bigger than we thought, more like a little Villa complete with a lounge suit and coffee table, a wall mounted flat screen TV, and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Within the bathroom was a pleasant surprise an inside/outside shower. There was also a shower above the bath. Although the Hotel has a good number of accommodations, the spaces seemed to be designed where it felt quite intimate. Around the grounds we also enjoyed areas to sit where I read my book, a Bale where we drank morning coffee, a swinging love seat by the sea to sit and relax to the soothing sound of the waves also a table and chairs outside our front door. The food was great, some days breakfast was buffet on other days it was Ala Carte. Both choices were plentiful and delicious We often had lunch and dinner at the Hotel as the food was fresh, with good choices being western and local and good value for money. The Puri Saron is located so you can easily visit Singa raja, go on a trip to Banjar Springs, shop for all your gifts in the one place at the big airconditioned Krisna Centre or simply spend your day at the Puri Saron. The staff and Location make this joint. The rooms are very good, large and well maintained, The Pool Villas are private and whilst at the moment they have some construction going on, you honestly would not know. The staff will run you into Lovina beach proper every day, and quite a few venues will come and pick you up and drop you back. The only downside to this place is the food. They need to get back to basic and serve the wonderful dishes that people travel to Bali for, forget the westernized menus of Burgers and Ribs etc. Serve a more traditional menu, Breakfast was pretty good. But the restaurant was the only reason this place did not get 5 stars. The staff are the best asset this place has.. a very relaxing time in Lovina, fix the Restaurant and you have a 5 star property in every way. Lovina is very laid back, no yells of ”transport” or ”taxi” no hassling from eager vendors, some polite questions as you walk past an outlet, nothing more.. A great spot for a chill out.

Lovely resort with great facilities and very hospitable and friendly staff. Beautiful sunset views. Too far to walk into the main area of Lovina beach due to the busy road but only a few minutes away in a taxi which was very good value.

If you are planning to visit Lovina, definitely stay at the villas of the Taman Bali Hotel! The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, Ketut Awan was always there to assist with any request we had, he just gives the 5 stars to the hotel just because he is working there! We were offered to try the Balinese massage, I was lucky to try it with the therapist Juni, since I had tried massages in a daily basis in different places all over Bali, this treatment was something else, she is 💎 so I stuck with her and prepaid 10 sessions in advance 😁 definitely recommend! We enjoyed our stay at this beach front inn. The staff is sweet, attentive and helpful. They made us a reservation with a driver and reservations at the Secret Garden for dinner. The beds are comfy! We stayed in the studio suite. We had two twin beds and one king. The room is adorable. The wifi is terrible. You cannot work remotely here. There is some sort of generator that turns on for 12 seconds every minute. This noise disrupts your sleep. Also the night time patio lights are so bright in the room. We turned them off a few times. The contential breakfast included is ok for one or two days. We stayed four nights and they slowly ran out of fruit and the eggs were very dry. We attended a wedding and the staff helped us with our sarongs!! We appreciated that help! Overall, a pleasant stay. I'd probably pick another hotel if we come back.

Stayed at Brits Resort Lovina in preparation for my wedding; having our WO, MUA, and Photographer coming all around our rooms. The space in the room really made us still feel comfortable even having people coming in / out our rooms. Service was great, room was immaculate despite being slightly outdated, public areas including garden, main pool, and pathway to beach were spacious, and breakfast was decent. Highlight would most probably be the Restaurant team who assisted us during breakfast. We were informed that breakfast opened at 07.00 but I needed to be up and got ready early. Therefore, I visited the breakfast restaurant at 06.30 hoping just to get some breads in preparation for my big day. Instead, they opened the buffet early for us and gave us full breakfast service. This is really appreciated. Thank you Brits Resort Lovina team and we are looking forward for our next stay.
