One of the best resorts I’ve been to. Fascinating view & service. I had a minor injury due to my own mistake, and the staffs were keep checking on me till we check out to ensure I’m fully recovered. We stayed for two nights to celebrate my partner’s birthday. It was definitely highlight of our Bali trip. Quite a fair bit of activities that can keep you occupied. Overall, the restaurants are not the most affordable options (we went to Koral restaurant, rooftop bars, breakfast place & Japanese restaurant - almost all except for the Chinese hotpot place) but we were not disappointed with the service/food a single time! When we got back to the room after some outdoor activities, we were greeted with a card and mini cake from the resort :) wishing HBD. Koral restaurant was our definite favorite. All in all, we spent about USD 2K for 3D2N. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s willing to spend some for a great holiday!

Really nice hotel in the ITDC area of Nusa Dua, easily accessible, safe and with a long pool and an Indonesian Style buffet breakfast. The rooms are a good size and very clean, well worth the price. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they are incredibly polite and accommodating to guests . Special shout-out to Dewak who was very very helpful throughout my stay here and helped me out without fail. He knows the area well too and so gave me good recommendations for coffee places and places to get good food and drink! Will stay here again for sure!

The hotel gets 1 star - only for the restaurant setting and pool area. Otherwise this was the worst hotel experience we have had anywhere in the world. The check in process took 3 hours: after checking in to 3 rooms in a mouldy, damp corridor and must/mildew smell inside we decided to take the kids for a swim while we tried to change rooms. There were no pool towels available, and while reception apologised and tried to find alternative rooms and said there would be a short wait. 3 hours later we still had not been moved rooms and our kids were hungry and wet sitting in the lobby. Obviously this was less than ideal and after asking again were given 1/3 rooms to check in to so at least the kids could be showered and fed. The next rooms were on the next floor up and only marginally cleaner but by this stage it was after 8pm and the kids needed to sleep. The next morning I asked to speak with the hire manager to give some feedback on our awful check-in experience and asked for a complimentary meal or drink or something which in any hotel of standard would have been offered, to be told no, but she was happy to show us yet another room on the 5th floor - the room was open on one side to the sea air and rooms on level 5/6 might be the only habitable, safe rooms in the hotel. As my family/kids were only staying 1 further night we decided it was too much hassle to move again. My mother and I were staying a 3rd night, as as I left the room in the evening to take my family to the airport a large tile came lose as stopped the door from opening or closing. When I returned to the hotel close to midnight I found my mother had changed rooms (for the 3rd time) as the door could not be fixed. The complete last of ventilation and central a/c has caused extensive issues with moisture and condensation throughout the hotel, as seen in the photos. It has been both poorly designed and cheaply built and with such issues in a newer hotel I can only imaging they will get worse and worse over time. Maintenance/engineering were constantly cutting holes in the plasterboard to attempt repair of the a/c system and patching back up - there are repair marks through the corridors and rooms and the plasterboard that was pulled out was clearly mouldy and internal metal work full of rust. We were provided with a free transfer to the airport on checkout (at our insistence) and while the staff in general were friendly and kind, there is clearly a massive issue with management, ownership and the hotel itself. Stay anywhere else but here if you value your health and safety.

Amazing historical Balinese architecture needs to be greatly valued and the staff many of whom have worked there for many years are really nice. The hotel should be nominated as part of a historical society to hold up & maintain its heritage. It's an amazing old hotel with lovely gardens. & Balinese statues & water features everywhere. It's being renovated at the moment, but the staff said they hope to have the main lobby restored very soon and are doing trial run sometime this month. For now, you have to check into the hotel through a side entrance at Ayodhya palace which was traditionally used for exclusive guests. Previous reviews have criticized the hotel, due to the renovation work going on & yes, they should notify people who book that it is under renovations and when it is due to be finished trough their website. We had 2 rooms & we were upgraded to grand deluxe rooms & thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the staff were so nice. Extremely quite & peaceful no paint smells or workers being noisy. We got a great deal. Bicycles are free to use by patrons. The main pool is still under renovation but the front pool near the beach is still operating. Waterfall restaurant is open for breakfast lunch & dinner. Other small cafes by the pool are open. The spa sadly is closed but may reopen with a new contractor soon I am told. Please be understanding of what the Ayodya hotel & its staff have been through. It has been shut down during covid for 2 years and is only just re-opening. They need tourists to support them. & if you want value for money, you can get a great deal whilst staying at the hotel right now. Just ask to be placed in a room away from any renovation noise or paint smells. The staff will look after you very well as they did for us. What a stunning resort. The gardens and grounds generally are so picturesque. The one bedroom villa with pool is incredible and has a huge private outdoor area to lounge and dine. All of the food from the restaurant and bar, including traditional and western dishes, are delicious. The staff are extremely attentive and have gone out of their way many times to assist or accommodate us. In particular, Tirta was extremely attentive and a real gentleman. He is very knowledgeable about the resort and activities or places to visit in Bali. He is also a brilliant photographer and kindly took the time to help us get some stunning shots. We stopped and had some great chats in passing around the resort several times. He really made our stay even more enjoyable and is genuinely such a lovely, happy person to interact with.

Hidden Gem in Nusa Dua. Great value for the money. Clean and well maintained property with some of the kindest and helpful staff we’ve ever met. Not a beachfront hotel but not far from Nusa Dua beach and is walking distance to Roby Pizza Italiana, the best Pizza in Bali. The breakfast (for a fee), is also one of the best we have ever had in Bali.

Great value for money with everything we needed for a weeks stay whilst working & enjoying the sun! Highlights: - spacious room conducive to working - staff were amazing. In particular chef Ferri Andre in the Backstage restaurant (sorry, unsure on spelling). He was amazing in providing vegan options for breakfast every single day ensuring we got everything we wanted whilst personally coming to see us and delivering the food. - Julio the Marriott Vacation club employee was extremely helpful and arranged our complimentary spa treatment. - Great spa with enjoyable holistic massage for 60 minutes - Lap pool was a nice amenity as well as a great gym - Shuttle to Bali Collection (shops) & the beach was convenient. Areas of improvement: - Main pool was occasionally too loud. When they had the large speaker on, this could be heard across the resort and was overpowering. When at the other pools, there was then 2 sources of music that could be heard which was not ideal. - Our room was described as a 'Sea view' which as you will be able to see from the picture is a real stretch... - Even though the chefs were super helpful, it isn't great for vegans. Animal products in most items that you wouldn't expect (bread/pasta etc). Seemed a bit unnecessary. - Renaissance's beach is not great. I would highly recommend going to 'Canna Bali' instead.

During our 5-day, 4-night stay, we experienced a truly pleasant and enjoyable time at the hotel. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. The rooms were immaculately clean and well-maintained, each offering a balcony with unique views—one overlooking the pool and the other the spa area. The peacefulness after 10pm added to the sense of exclusivity and relaxation. We had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast on the last two days, each time discovering different menus which we found to be quite satisfying. Overall, our experience was excellent! I would like to extend special recognition to Rista and Amanda from the check-in staff, as well as Agung and Edwin from the restaurant for their exceptional help and hospitality. Their contributions truly enhanced our stay.
