If I could choose again, I would not stay at this hotel. The staff were kind and tried their best to assist, but overall the experience did not justify the price, and I would not recommend it.
On the first day, our villa had several issues: a gecko inside the room, a kettle that didn’t work, and a door that couldn’t be properly locked. After hours of back-and-forth, we were moved to another villa at around 10 PM.
Noisy: Unfortunately, the new villa was located directly behind a public road, and the noise at night was extremely disruptive—at times it felt as if motorbikes were passing right beside the bed. I was too tired to request another room change, but the sleep quality was significantly affected.
Cleanliness and privacy: the private pool seemed more decorative than functional, with visible leaves and signs it hadn’t been properly cleaned. the outdoor shower meant I had to share my space with geckos again, which might be uncomfortable for some guests.
We also relied on the shuttle bus twice, and both times it failed to arrive on schedule—one instance was over 10 minutes late. This inconsistency was surprising for a hotel under a major international group.
This was meant to be a relaxing staycation, but I found myself more tense than refreshed. If there is one highlight, it would be the breakfast, which was generous and well prepared.

這家酒店餐廳超級好吃，尤其是炒麪很絕，出去別的地方吃的炒麪都沒有這裏好吃，但定了酒店一個帶民俗表演的套餐，吃不大慣，沒有他們餐廳點餐好吃。酒店整體環境也很好，審美高級，室外泳池也很乾凈。因為這個酒店都是villa户型，所以整個酒店人不多，很靜謐。比較美中不足的是這裏的水質比較差，帶了過濾花灑濾芯用一次就變黑了，在其他酒店都沒這樣，所以千萬不要用自來水刷牙漱口，洗澡的時候最好閉緊嘴巴。另外就是villa的院門可以鎖，但玻璃拉門的房門不行，要是能鎖就好了。

This is really an excellent hotel with excellent facilities and great services all except for one disastrous design fault. The toilet has got no blind and with the morning sunit's like going into a sauna when nature call.
The reception done by Jhon was extremely warm catering to your every needs.
The surrounding environment is quiet and Bali Collection where you can shop and dine is just a 10 minutes stroll away.
The beach part belonging to the hotel is a little small.
All in all it's a hotel worthed staying whenever you're In Bali.

Beautiful resort consisting only of villas — either one or two bedrooms, each with its own private pool. The design is elegant, the gardens are lovely, and the breakfast is very good.
There is also a remote beach club about 1 km away, offering complimentary sunbeds and drinking water for guests. A free shuttle runs every hour.

We booked this place as trip.com advertised amarterra as newly renovated in 2023. However the room we got was pretty worn out. we found out during our stay that only 3 villas were renovated out of the entire resort. Was little misled by the highlight.
Amarterra is still a nice resort for couples and adults as it’s quiet and can be away from the mainstream tourists/ big tours.
