Nice and atmospheric hotel)
We were unlucky: it rained all three days. Because of this, the breakfast area was flooded, but the staff found a way out of the situation: they brought breakfast to the room.
We lived on the 1st floor; I would like the veranda between the room and the pool (with chairs) to be larger, and the chairs themselves - more comfortable).
In the evenings, the staff turned on the fumigators, so the mosquitoes did not bother.
Location: 10 minutes to the Monkey Forest, but this is its back side, not the entrance. You can walk to the city center along the road through this forest, it turns out to be about 25 minutes.
Opposite the villa there are very good cafes with delicious food))

Welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. Location was perfect for me, quiet street with cafes and easy walking distance to the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The hotel was perfect for me and I especially loved my room, traditional Balinese style. I would recommend and I would definitely go back to Villa Sonia if I come back to Ubud. Thank you to everyone at Villa Sonia for making my stay perfect 🙂

Stayed here for three days. It's a little far from the palace, about 25 minutes' walk. The room is clean and sanitary, and cleaned every day. The front desk and service staff are very enthusiastic and greet each other when they meet. When they saw me taking the suitcase down, they immediately asked the waiter to come and help me get it. The breakfast is simple, recommended!
