We stayed at Ocean View Tulamben December 3rd and 4th 2022. The resort looked good, 2 nice pools to enjoy and the rooms looked okay until problems started. First day there was no hot water and the tv wasn’t working, we informed the staff at the reception and said that both issues would be resolved in an hour. We went out to eat while we waited for the staff to fix the hot water, when we came back there was still not hot water and the tv wasn’t fixed. We again informed the staff and all they had to say was “Sorry”. But not a sorry we will fix it, and we continued with no hot water or TV. Next day we went diving, we came back around 3 pm and the room wasn’t clean and still no hot water. We again mentioned politely to the staff and they offered to change us rooms. The next room had the same issues, they said they will fix it but never did. HORRIBLE SERVICE, this is coming from a person that works in the hospitality industry. Besides all this issues that were ignored in our faces, the restaurant also was a disappointment, they forgot our breakfast while there was no other guests waiting and all the staff was just sitting in the kitchen, again “Sorry” but I guess they were not sorry at all. On our last day, when we came back from diving, we found toiletries in our bathroom that didn’t belong to us, this was very alarming because it could only mean that somebody had entered our room and took a shower. We went straight to the reception all we got was a “sorry” and here is your bill. For me this is a safety issue that should have been dealt with seriously. If you decide to stay here, be aware that even if the hotel amenities are decent and the location too, you will not receive any help from the staff, they do not care about your experience let along your safety.
