Best Western Resort Kuta

Kuta
The staffs are super nice and helpful but the room isn’t. The corners of the room and the nightstands are dusty, the sheets are damp, and there are some plugs that aren’t working. As a person who really cares about bathroom hygiene, I really disliked this hotel and won’t come back any time soon. The first thing that I see in the bathroom is a dead bug over the toilet, I still get goosebumps thinking about it. The bathtub floor is textured I don’t know why and it feels super weird I don’t like it. When I opened the box that supposed to have sanitary bags inside of it, the bags are not inside. So it’s just a box without anything in it. I also didn’t get facial tissues, the only option is to use toilet tissues but that’s never gonna happen. The AC got broken too. It leaked and everything underneath was also affected. It gets to my phone and charger, I can’t charge my phone for the whole night because the water got inside. If you bring a car here, I suggest you to get here before 9/10 PM because the parking lot is small and I almost didn’t get a parking spot. The road in front of the hotel is so small that when I waited to get a spot, lots of cars were honking and I feel super uncomfortable.
Best Western Kuta Villa

Kuta
This hotel is decent but could really use an overhaul. If you stay in the main villa building, it’s ok, because the room and bathroom are spacious. But not in the other options- the “upgraded” rooms on the side -with a small dip-in pool in the front compound may have been unique 30 years ago but just not practical today. The “connecting” bathroom was so cramped and its doors needs replacement. Better use the courtyard space as bathroom. The local breakfast was pretty good but the croissants were dry and perhaps a bit stale already. Refurbish and you’ll be a favourite again!
Best Western Kamala Jimbaran

Uluwatu
Best Western Kamala Jimbaran is a good location if you are visiting the nearby theme park. Starting off from the best to the worst experience: Room: 4/5 Room was a queen bed. It is considerable spacious but does need improvement in cleanliness such as the paint marks on the balcony. For the price point, I would say its above average. Check in/out: 3/5 The staff was not so well prepared about my arrival and my membership, till it was shown. The process was slightly slow, and certain request such as late check out was shorten till 1pm. The place was very empty and considering the membership status, it was eligible till 4pm. Not a big fuss, but other hotels would glad provide a greater extension. Environment: 3/5 Good, the place is quite small but it is easy to navigate to where you want to go from the toilet to the elevator. The decors were just alright, it isn't speculator or has any superb feel about it. However, the price point kind of justify the means. Security: 3/5 Security officers were at times present but not always at certain time. Pool & Gym: 3/5 The pool was quite boring and doesn't have an attractive appeal since it has a corner cut design, which doesn't make much sense who would actually use it. However, its decent for a splash. Did not use the gym. Overall, the place is good for the price point. Its not spectacular, but its sufficient to get you going around the area of Jimbaran.
