Venice Hotels with Balcony

My flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it! Room was small couldnt open big luggage but it was clean, the cleaning lady deserved a big tip! I like they provide water and slippers. The view from my room is authentic. The hotel is convenient if u r around San Marco square or you always have to go to bathroom. If u r taking night ferry to Santa Lucia Train station Ferrovia, remember is on the right END station from San Marco, it’s another bridge u have to cross.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the pier, and the restaurant offers breathtaking views. Dinner service was acceptable. However, the compulsory service charge on the bill was excessively high. Bar service, on the other hand, was disappointing, with one particular staff member always having a cold demeanor. There was no complimentary bottled water provided in the rooms. Booking a superior room often results in being assigned an accessible room or a subpar one on the ground floor, and even if you're unhappy with your room, they refuse to allow a change.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

The room was indeed very compact, only 17 square meters, with simple decor and no view. Luckily, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious, though the shower stall was a bit narrow. Slippers were provided, but no toothbrushes. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with small portions of each item. If you like bread, you'll be very satisfied. The biggest advantage is its super close proximity to the pier, offering direct access to the airport or various places along the canal. The service was also very warm, attentive, and polite.

Staff is very friendly with a kind and positive attitude. Very respectful. Breakfast was outstanding and the room was very comfortable. We chose to walk from the airport and it was a nice decision since it is quite close to it.

Alomost perfect but “Check in Guide” As guests who just booked the hotel several days ago, we didn’t receive an email about how to find the hotel. So we used google map. But got lost nearby. Thus, we decide to share our experience to help potential guests. Firstly, when you find this little square with a statuette(picture 1). You can go across the little bridge then turn left. Don’t walk too much. The hotel is just near the bridge. Actually we spent around 30 minutes walked around this place. But seldom people knew this building’s location . And we got cold because of October’s weather in Venice. In short, after going across the bridge, you should turn left and almost immediately turn right. The gate of hotel is close to “Campiello Diego” and a bar. Unluckily, the phone number on Trip.com is wrong. So we find a number on the door and add the front desk’s WhatsApp. The front desk replied immediately, and we finally got the pin and entered the room. The room is new. And the view is beautiful. Unless the “finding hotel” process, we like this hotel. BTW, the restaurant attached is very good. Waiters are helpful and generous there. They will treat you appetizer, dessert and two little cups of alcohol. Their spaghetti is good. Hope our information can help you~

Overall, I'm very satisfied! The only minor issue is that the bus from the city's train station to the hotel stops running at 9 PM, which is quite early. A taxi wasn't too expensive, costing 15 Euros. However, there's a convenient direct bus service between the main island and the train station. You can buy bus tickets at the hotel front desk; I recommend buying a couple extra. Otherwise, it can be a hassle if the ticket machines in the city are broken or there are long queues. Breakfast was quite good, but the windows couldn't be opened, so I kept seeing dust and lint floating around in the room. This seems to be a common problem with hotels where you can't open the windows.

A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus.

We arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels. On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water. There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all. The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door. The tourist tax is €3 per person per day. We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite. Thank you so much. Reception Some don't speak Italian, so English isn't a problem, but it's expensive. Parking is limited, but everything else is fine.
