Very Clean accommodation - the modest rooms reflect the modest price point charged for nightly accommodation - however this hotel is in a great location - there is no pool on the property - however a beach directly across the road, along with a bus stop - and walking distance to other restaurants in the precent. The reception staff are particularly helpful - (my French is limited) - and I was really thankful for that - a great little place!!

A great hotel, generally new, smells nice, very helpful staff and situated in a great location. The reason why this missed a perfect rating is due to two issues that troubled us. We stayed here for 7 nights and from night 4 onward, we had cigarette smoke coming through the air con nightly and every morning from 6+ am. Very likely, the ac has a shared system and guests who moved in smoked in their rooms even though it isn’t allowed. We brought this up to a staff but she said it’s normal, anyway we took it in stride and tried our best to ignore this. The other reason is that the room is tidied very well daily but it isn’t exactly cleaned. The hair accumulation on the floor and the dead insect remained present for the entire length of our stay. All in all I’d consider staying here again and take my chances with in-room smoking neighbours.

Chambre spacieuse mais literie de mauvaise qualité, 1 seule serviette par personne, changée 1 jour sur 2 A noter l’environnement bruyant jusqu’à très tard le soir, les bars à proximité et les gens saouls sur la plage. Le grand panneau lumineux qui reste actif toute la nuit, les rideaux occultants ne suffisent pas. Le personnel de la réception d’humeur et d’amabilité inégales… En résumé, fuyez sauf si vous n’avez pas les moyens de vous offrir un hôtel décent!

Wer seinen Aufenthalt in Neukaledonien hier beginnt, hat eine gute Wahl getroffen. Was hat uns begeistert? Beim ersten Aufenthalt hat wir das Eck-Zimmer im 3. Stock mit eigenem kleinen Balkon, Meerblick und jeder Menge Platz. Das Bad mit Fenster bietet viel Ablagefläche, das Zimmer ebenso. Safe, leiser Kühlschrank. Beim zweiten Zwischenstopp logierten wir im ersten Stock mit Meerblick und großer Gemeinschaftsterrasse. Zimmer und Bad waren etwas kleiner aber es gab für alles ausreichend Platz. Die Betten sind sehr groß und gut. Sehr gutes, stabiles WLAN. Sehr nettes, außerordentlich hilfreiches Personal (eine liebenswerte Raumpflegerin, wunderbare Leute an der Rezeption, die auf Anfrage Dateien ausdrucken, Transfer bestellen etc.), die Lage an der Baie der Citron. Die Möglichkeit, aus der Hotel herauszustolpern und gleich im originellen Lokal "Babar" jedwede Mahlzeit einnehmen zu können. Was hat uns gut gefallen? Die ganze unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Die Möglichkeit, Gepäck dort unterzustellen (auch für mehrere Tage). Was hat uns nicht so gut gefallen? Die Duschen haben zu kleine Duschwände, so dass beim Duschen das ganze Bad geflutet wird, was vor allem für die Reinigungskräfte mühsam ist. Der Duschfußboden ist gefährlich glatt.

We found the hotel to be very reasonably priced , we had a superior room overlooking the beach . Was a bit noisy but that’s not the hotels fault, it’s the main road and the beach . The facilities are fine , staff are helpful and friendly, but the Television is all in french - no subtitles even so that was a bummer in the evening but wifi meant we could watch stuff Otherwise all was as advertised

The hotel itself is decent and value for money. Michael at the front of staff was extremely helpful with local knowledge and impeccable English. Location is awesome, restaurant downstairs has awesome truffle burgers and our view of the Bay was spot on. The downside is the club about 100 metres away which plays loud ‘doof-doof’ music until 3 am. Unless, you’re a late sleeper then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel.
