Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita

Just finished a week here. We stayed in a residence. The condo was very clean. It easily accommodated 8 people with three bathrooms. In suite kitchen and laundry were fully functional. The kitchen was fully appointed. External patio with plunge pool and outdoor cooking area. The beds are very comfortable. All types of pillows available. Easy walk to all facilities and golf cart service available as well. As one would expect, full service spa and exercise facility, two beaches, 3 pools, all with full bars and completely staffed. The staff are excellent and service oriented. All are very pleasant and worked to accommodate every need. The restaurants have slightly limited options, but what is offered is prepared in an excellent manner. The concierge is able to book any/all activities in the area. We took a half day fishing trip and were rewarded with a 70 lb sailfish. Overall, I only have good things to stay in regards to this trip and this resort.

Be aware! This is nothing like a Four Seasons resort! No Life guards in the resort! This is a family hotel, and there should always be a lifeguard near the sea and the pool. There were so many cockroaches everywhere inside the hotel premises. They were inside the spa, inside our room, in the bar and food area and hallways. Cockroaches represent unhealthy and filthy environment. They carry so much diseases. Also, roaches are my biggest phobia and when I saw the first one, after receiving a message on the spa, I freaked out. That was our first day. The staff at the spa was very kind and helpful and they tried to help me by calming me down and safely getting me out to the front desk to speak to a manager on duty. We spotted another cockroach creeping out of our bathroom sink in our room. We informed the management and the fumigated the room. It was almost impossible to sleep and breath inside our room. We were coughing and developed severe headaches. We were not only terrified but we got sick. The Managemt was not very helpful. He told me that I cannot come and ask for free things and more discounts each time I see another roach. The hotel was very unorganized and dirty. There were barely any staff at the pool and beach area. There were dirty towels everywhere. Long story short. Save your money and do not go to this resort! .

Excellent property, food and service…

The Four Seasons Punta Mita is absolutely wonderful. The hotel location, the hotel grounds, the rooms, the staff, drinks, food all first class!
