The hotel is located next to the BAD RAGAZ high-end golf club, backed by mountains, with its own garden, simple design, and free swimming pools, saunas and other leisure facilities. It is a good place for a leisure vacation. There are not many kinds of breakfast, but it is acceptable. There is no air conditioning in the room, so you have to open the window. Although the air is good, flying insects may come in, so those who are concerned should consider it carefully.

J'ai séjourné une nuit dans la Résidence Sonderegger. Style années 80. Chambre humide et sans charme qui sentait le moisi...franchement dur de trouver pire, à part dans un hôtel de 1 ou 2 étoiles. Il est temps d'investir. Cela étant, le personnel est tout à fait sympathique et le petit-déjeuner (dans partie rénovée) convenable.

The hotel does not have 24/7 receptionist desk. When we were there during the summer, the weather was hot but the room was not equipped with aircon. When we arrived, had difficulty finding the check-in desk as the hotel has rooms spread out over multiple locations....a clearer signage to give direction would be good.

Wir hatten im Schloss selber ein wunderbares und geräumiges Zimmer mit Blick auf den Golfplatz, wie auch auf den Regitzerspitz (herzlichen Dank an Chef de Réception, Frau Tschumper). Das Schloss hat einen altehrwürdigen Charme und hebt sich klar von seelenlosen Neubauten ab. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Excellent hotel on the edge of the picturesque Bad Ragaz in Switzerland. Close to Lictenshtein and other beatiful sights in the area. The hotel rooms are all on ground floor with access to small porch and a large lawn and a nice swimming pool. There is also spa area which did not get to check. Nice breakfast, a little bit basic but found what was required to start a day with breath- taking views outside of the window. The staff is welcoming and nice and the lack of language was not a problem. If one looking for a small hotel in nature without all the luxuries of a 5 stars hotels, this is the place.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Golfplatz Bad Ragaz und die Innenstadt ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Ebenfalls gibt es einen Wellnessbereich, den ich leider nicht testen konnte. Das Zimmer im Schloss war sauber und sehr geräumig. Das Bad ausreichend von der Größe. Das Frühstücksbüffet war gut, frischer Käse, leckere Brotsorten und kleine Brötchen, Eispeisen und Müsli, alles war vorhanden. Fazit: Absolut zu empfehlen für einen Besuch in Bad Ragaz. Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Schweizer Verhältnisse. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeber!

Superb setting. Ample chateau ambience despite less attractive “Pavillon” add ons. Stay in the Chateau part and enjoy good size rooms, decent WiFi, ok bedding … Decent value @€200/night. Eat out if you can. We stayed in and suffered from a long wait for dull food. A spoiler. The breakfast is not any better. Sad.

ely picturesque castle on the slopes of a stunning mountain range. Huge grounds with an outdoor pool and lots of parking. The castle rooms were booked out so we stayed in the pavilion, which was great as we could park right in-front of our room and off load our bags. There were delicious wild blackberries there too. The room has a terrace and there are two rooms to a block. Comfortable bed and linen. Cute little chocolates and ear plugs next to the bed, which we didn’t need as it was so quiet. Breakfast is served in the castle. The eggs were really fresh, however breakfast could do with a bit more variety, more quality meats, cheeses and freshly cooked omelettes would be good. The bread was yummy. Reception and the lounge areas are stunning in the castle!

Weiss nicht wie eine Kreditkarte belastet wird. Zudem kann sie keine Stornobuchung vornehmen Hygiene und Allgemeines 0 Punkte Elektrizität funktioniert im Zimmer bzw. Badezimmer nicht. Mit nassen Haare musste Heimweg angetreten werden. Überall im Zimmer Spinnen Netze Abfalleimer vom vorherigen Gast nicht geleert. Äusserst eklig! Einmal und nie wieder…
