We made a last minute (2 days before) plan to visit North Norfolk to visit family, and The Clifftop Inn was available at a price we could afford. We had a family room for 4, which was a bit squished - but we weren't spending all our time in the room so it didn't matter. We were happy enough to find somewhere with space at such short notice. The place has a more traditional feel to it - which I loved. No massive arcades or high technology etc, but a chilled out place to stay. There was a gym there too, and we saw some people working out. We didn't join them though! We were welcomed warmly, and the room was comfortable and clean. The king-size bed was wonderful, and the bathroom in good order with a nice shower. Best of all, the beach was only a few steps away from the inn, so you could just pop to the beach to take a stroll. There is a gas plant nearby which had worried us a bit. However, you really have to look to be able to see it, and there is no noise. The views were lovely. We all had dinner there one evening, and it was served quickly (but not too quickly). It was pub food sort of stuff. Fish and chips, surf and turf etc. It was nice. We had no complaints. Breakfast was served next morning and there was plenty to choose from. It was good value and set us up for the day. The only thing I would have liked was some AC. We visited during the heatwave, and it would have been perfect to have been able to come to a cold room to sleep. However, everything else was so lovely I would love to go again, and stay longer this time. Highly recommended.
