Hotels Near Ayioi Anargiroi Church in Ayia Napa

Just returned from a week at this hotel, we arrived at 10pm and got checked in quickly and efficiently, the red haired receptionist was very pleasant and spoke perfect English. She explained the food hall was closed but she gave us packed meals in polystyrene boxes. However on opening them was disappointed to find they contained one plastic packed chocolate croissant, a packet of garibaldi biscuits and an apple. Ultra processed sugary rubbish which I don’t consider is an evening meal. I went across the road to the supermarket and bought some cold meat, cheese and a salad, and the sugary rubbish got thrown in the bin. Management you run a hotel, why don’t you give people nice healthy hotel food to eat? Our room was clean, we were on the ground floor however on going out onto the balcony our “view” was a side alley where staff came out to sit and smoke and they wheeled rubbish bins along, absolutely awful so we did not sit on the balcony ever. The pool area is nice and clean and relaxed, nobody pesters you, there is no animation team there, it’s just really chilled. The pool however is much smaller than it looks online, it’s the smallest pool I’ve ever been to and you can’t really swim in it, I tried but you go round in little circles but someone always gets in your way. It’s definitely just a pool to cool off in , so if you like to swim a lot don’t book this hotel. There are not nearly enough sun loungers around the pool, we weren’t there in the high season but many times came out and there was none free, management you need to provide far more loungers. The hotel is in a perfect location, a few minutes walk from the beach, and lots of restaurants and shops nearby too. The main ***** is about a 10 minute walk away. The beach is a small ***** of sand nearly all covered with sun loungers which you have to pay for, €2.50 for a lounger and another €2.50 for an umbrella, but they were always full and we found a little bit of sand and put our towels down there. The beach is very rocky and stoney, and the stones go far out so you really need water shoes to get in and out. There’s not much fish to see there for snorkelling. The food at the hotel had a smaller choice than other hotels, but I always found something to eat, the only problem is it was lukewarm, by the time you got back to your table to eat it it was cold. Management you need to turn up the heaters under your food to make it hot. The desserts were very limited, all they had were generic bought in frozen sponges of various different colours which they cut into little squares, that was all they had every lunchtime and evening, it was a poor show. Management you need to employ a pastry chef and make some different desserts. Also there was a distinct lack of Cypriot food on offer, I never saw halloumi or baklava on the menu. The coffee was disgusting, undrinkable, there was a Costa coffee shop a four minute walk away which I went to to get a decent coffee. The staff in the canteen were efficient a

Second time in this hotel and as before very nice stay.Staff are very friendly reception staff Tanya,Bipu,Olga and Camill .Cleaning staff very professional special thanks to Elaine,who was our cleaner last year, and Frosa who loved to chat.Pool was very clean,pretty quiet and plenty of comfatable sun beds.This is a nice quiet small hotel ideal for relaxation you could get breakfast there and snacks in the afternoon which were very nice from the napa crown.Main meals were served in the sister hotel Nelda Beach which was only a short walk over the road ,again food was excellent always a good choice.The all inclusive was in the napa crown a well run sports bar attached to the hotel this is a public pub well run by Marios a really friendly chap who always welcomed us,his staff are very professional special mention to Purushottam who is very friendly and polite but happy to serve you.The staff remembered us from last year which is nice.There is also a well stocked supermarket attached which is open very late and well priced. The downside is that we needed two rooms My friend had a pool view I paid quite a lot extra for a Sea view room as these were the only rooms left.We were intrigued as to where the sea view room would be as we are a little way from the sea.We arrived early hours my friends pool view was a wall you could see the pool if you looked round the wall,however the staff being what they are gave him a sea view room the next morning free of charge.My sea view was from my balcony on the top floor granted you could see the sea but it was a long way off ,couldn’t make anything out and definitely not worth the £300 I paid extra than a pool view.Tui contacted the hotel and we’re told that it was classed as a sea view if you want to see boats etc I would advise that you to take binoculars,I would definitely use this hotel again just wouldn’t pay for a distant Sea view,just a shame this is my only complaint but it’s a lot of money for what you get.

The big plus of this hotel is that it is located near the bus stop, on which you can go to different cities of Cyprus. We also arrived at the airport by bus and landed at the same stop. There are many restaurants, shops nearby, but the hotel is quiet. There is far away to the sea, but for us it was a plus (we love walking). We found a chic beach in which we were always alone and swimming like in a pool. It is about three kilometers away from Protaras. The room has everything necessary: minimum dishes, stove, teapot, refrigerator. You can buy breakfast. Cleaning is daily.

Fresh and nice enviroment, with new fresh rooms, nice pools, decent food and great choice of drinks. In the city But still close to the beach and Harbour. The best of all a Friendly and Happy team ready to serve you. Excellent service from the restaurant team, Ibrar in the Bar and the event supervisor Valentino. Great choice of massages in the SPA in the hotel. Had a deluxe room with balcony and all inclusive in the end of october. temperature from +21 to +26C, not heatet pools which might be a bit too cold in some months. Thanks for a excellent week! There’s absolutely nothing more I can say about this hotel other than excellent! It was my husband’s 60th birthday and nothing was too much trouble for them. Andreas you were fantastic organising everything for me, making sure my husband had an experience he will never forget. Balloons, in the room and around the private cabana by the rooftop pool, a cake, fantastic room and he even made sure there was my favourite wine ready for us, chilled to perfection. Alexandra the restaurant manager at the Courtyard, was so attentive and very generous, making us his special desert at our table, followed by a lovely liqueur at no cost, a birthday wish from him, yes and again another bottle of our favourite wine waiting for us. (The wine was not on the menu but they made the effort to ensure it was available to us). The staff are all amazing too, Ali the waiter at breakfast and the lovely lady who cooked fresh eggs for us. The lovely handsome Greek waiter at the Courtyard Restaurant and the DJ was outstanding!! A big big thank you again Andreas I am so grateful to you and your staffxxx Jayne & Mark

I came to Ayia Napa to stay in this apartment again. The boss knew me and gave me a newly renovated room on the top floor. Room number 216, a queen bed and a rollaway bed, used as luggage rack.

The hotel was great. Exactly like on the pictures. I can reccomend to choose this hotel for anyone, family, friends, couples.. There is very good restaurant vere we ate, two bars with great wiew. Inside and outside pools were clean, also wery nice gym were we could go. Everything was clean, workers was nice. I can reccomend to visit and choose this hotel for 100%.

Had a lovely fortnight at the Asterias. It’s a perfect holiday hotel sat on a beautiful sandy beach. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The food and drink were the best all inclusive offerings I’ve ever had. The food was good quality and cooked well. Full credit to all the staff in the restaurant even at its busiest times, they always had a table for you and there was always a full selection of freshly cooked food. They worked hard and tirelessly to ensure all guests were looked after and never any queues. There was a good selection of drinks at the main bars but was astonished to find they weren’t allowed to fill my 600ml insulated beaker! They had to waste plastic by filling disposable cups with Fanta or beer that I immediately emptied into my beaker which would keep it cold for hours if required . I’m hardly going to drink any more by having it in my own beaker am I? A shout out to the friendly and helpful bar attendant Vivien at the Aphrodite Pool Bar. She always had a smile on her face and time for a chat. I decided to “splash out” on a swim up room and I have to say felt it was really worth it. It meant we had a private pool shared between 7 rooms, our own sunloungers and decking area and access to the Aphrodite pool bar just 30 seconds away. Another bonus is the swim up rooms are in the sun all afternoon from noon til sunset. It was a shame to have such a nice beach making it difficult to choose where to sunbathe! The room was airy, very well lit and spacious. Modern and freshly decorated with a small fridge and comfortable bed. My only small criticism is that for a 4* hotel, you would expect tea/coffee making facilities in the room but no. They should at least be available to guests that request them. You such a nice balcony but can’t enjoy an early coffee before breakfast. Thanks to all the staff that helped make my holiday there very enjoyable and relaxing.
