The room smelled highly of chemical musk ether they sprayed for bed bugs or there washer doesn’t rinse well, and mostly everything smelled in the room as in the bedding towels etc didn’t sleep well due to the smell and caused my allergy’s to flame up

Disgusting room! Carpet was filthy. Curtains were dirty. The room smelled like poop! We would've left except it was 12:30am & since we booked through Hotwire, we couldn't get our money back. Bedding was clean and the air conditioner worked. Will never stay at a Sleep Inn again. Did not risk eating the breakfast. Figured that if they would let someone stay in that disgusting room, they probably don't have very high food standards. Also, we ended up paying more through Hotwire than if we'd booked direct with the hotel. Fool me once. . . . I reported the condition of the room to desk clerk (same one that had checked us in) the next morning, she acted surpised. But I'm pretty sure that someone at that hotel knew because when we got there the window was open, presumably trying to air the room out (it was way too hot and humid to have the window open). Also the pictures of this hotel are definitely old.

I read the reviews and I don’t know if it has recently changed hands or not but it’s a nice hotel. Yes the pillows are small but they give you alot of them. Breakfast items vary depending on the number of rooms booked but each day had a nice selection of good items. The room is clean and comfortable and I did not have any wait for hot water, was in the middle of the first floor. The pool is nice and warm and is clean. It looks gray because the walls are metal not covered in a plastic liner. The bottom has a texture to it that I personally liked because it was not slippery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I’m a diamond member with choice and I’ve stayed at 90 choice properties this. This is hands-down the worst experience by far I’ve had any of them… The property is disgusting.. The manager is tacky, unprofessional, and underqualified. The property is run like a really bad trailer park . She she needs to be managing table at a flea market not a hotel. Absolutely awful experience from arriving and not getting the room that I had paid for... I mean, put into a different type room was not even any mention of it. You would do better sleeping behind a dumpster been going to this property. Filth just absolutely horrific experience.

I will start with the only positive thing about our stay at this hotel, and it is that the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Also, the desk chair in the room had arms which is excellent for assisting mobility-impaired people to rise out of it. Now to the reason of the poor rating I gave this hotel; while it is an older hotel, maintenance issues apparently have been neglected. 1) There was a very musty odor throughout the place; in the lobby, the hallway, and in our room. 2) While our room was generally clean, there was a napkin and a part of an opened sugar packet left on the floor of the room. 3) The toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall and broke. 4) The toilet seat was loose and wobbly (not good in a handicapped room). 5) The smoke detector in the ceiling was missing the casing and wires were just hanging down from the ceiling. While this is a non-smoking hotel and we are not smokers, it was a bit disconcerting to see the wires hanging down. 6) There was an electrical outlet near one side of the bed that was out from the wall, exposing the wires. If a small child was in this room, this would be a enormous safety concern. 7) Our room was a mobility-accessible room but had a tub-shower, so my husband couldn't use the shower. I realize that this combination is ADA compliant as long as it has grab bars and a seat; however, I found the tub floor to be slippery and with no grab bars outside the shower, difficult to use. 8) Also regarding accessibility for mobility-impaired guests, there was a large easy chair blocking the access between the bathroom and the bed. My husband could not navigate past this chair until I moved it. It was rather heavy for me to move, but I did. The room itself was quite small so did not need such a large easy chair in it. 9) The only elevator in the hotel broke late in the evening and the hotel couldn't get anyone to try and fix it until later the following morning. We were on the third floor and my husband could not maneuver down the stairs by himself. Happily, two employees came and helped him down all the way to the lobby. They offered to help me with the luggage also; I was to just call the front desk when ready. However, when I called, no one answered, so after about 30 rings, I lugged our things down the three flights by myself. Not easy for a 78 year old woman.

Clean and comfortable. I would stay again, but other family members feel walls too thin, and smell of smoke in hallway. Definitely an older property - brown carpeting in rooms was not attractive; "insert shower" felt flimsy.

This is not a fancy hotel. It is not a new hotel. But it is well maintained and clean. I was a bit put off when they made a copy of my driver's license - I don't mind showing it, but the copy was a surprise. I wish I had asked what they do with the copies to ensure or privacy and security. The room was clean. Yes, some of the walls were painted avocado green and the carpets were brown and probably needed a really good cleaning or to be replaced. I was pleasantly surprised that the towels were pretty decent. A lot of hotels at this price point have thin, tiny towels. Good option if you are passing through the area.

The hallways smelt so bad of smoke. We had a non-smoking room & the smoke came through our door. The air conditioner air smelt bad too. Our room had paint splats over everything, the lights didn’t work & the shower was leaking. The cleanliness of the establishment was subpar. The windows opened all the way with no screen nor safety latch to prevent falls.

I'm allegedly in a non-smoking room that's on a smoking floor. That's now how that works. Definitely some unsavory characters staying here, and the room reeks of both smoking in it, and from contamination from the hallway. Management is friendly enough, but insists this is a non-smoking room.
