Travell was for business on the weekend— the front desk staff was very welcoming! The lobby had a fresh scent and there was complimentary water. The suites were roomy and clean. Good water pressure . The property is a little older, but pretty well-maintained. The a/c was a little wonky—it’s the kind that is a stand alone one rather than a thermostat on the wall (central). The fan/blower kept going off and on, but the room stayed cool enough. The hotel is located right off I-35, in an area with a lot of similar hotels, and felt safe. Good coffee at breakfast.

This place is not a horror story but it has seen better days. We have all been there, stains on carpet and furniture, bathtub on its third round of caulk, shower head sputters due to calcium and handle loose and ready to fall off. Staff is great!

Do not stay here. I don’t know why it has the reviews that it does. The place is old and dirty. We stayed in room 420. There are stains on the floor and it smells funky. The floor is disgusting. I slipped and fell in the shower that had poor drainage and filled the tub with water. The staff isn’t friendly and it looks like nothing in this facility has been replaced since it was built. They didn’t even give a full toilet paper roll. I’m so glad this stay was for one night only. I feel contaminated from sleeping here.
