"Short stay at Dorint Augsburg, upgraded from 4th to 8th floor, thank you because on the 4th the view is no view. The location is great for a meeting at the Kongress center but no shop or restaurant around, just the park. The hotel is very dated, the architecture is interesting but only the front desk and restaurant have been renewed. Don't expect a USB socket there. The shower head was not clean (mushrooms). The staff - except at the breakfast - are mostly uninterested in providing a warm service. I was offered a drink if I cancel the cleaning service, that I accepted; but in the morning, the cleaner entered the room without knocking :( Due to a change in my work schedule, I had to leave and wanted to cancel the second night, it was refused and I was charged 100%."

"There is nothing wrong with the rooms. Stylish, with air conditioning and a large bathroom. The breakfast is also great. However, we were extremely dissatisfied with the service in the hotel. My mother (77 years old) and I arrived at 12:15 after a 580 km drive. The friendly receptionist told me that we couldn't move into the room yet because check-in wasn't until 2 p.m. I said: "Oh, they're fully booked and the rooms aren't cleaned yet!?" She said no, but the rule is that you can't check in until 2 p.m. I understand that you can't get into the room at 7 or 8 a.m., but if you show up 1:45 hours before check-in time and the rooms are free, then I expect a little more flexibility."
