The room itself is very old, the windows were also poorly cleaned. However the rest of the hotel is nice and updated including the spa and pool area. Overall it was a decent stay, however I would only go back for the spa and not stay there again.

My first choice every time I go to Auckland, because I like the surrounding environment so much. It’s a pity that the hotel has not updated its equipment in the three years since the epidemic, and there is a lack of staff!

The first time I stayed, but it should be the last time. After all, this is the worst five-star hotel I have ever stayed in. The cleanliness will not clean the trash can, the washbasin has water stains, and the interface of the shower head is leaking. , I can't find the person on duty in the lobby to help with parking at night. Not only that, rang the bell in the parking lot and waited for at least 20 minutes with no response. The most exaggerated thing is that the doorman even took the wrong car when he took the car... If my own car is also taken in the wrong way, and it is really driven away, what should I do? My colleague asked the waiter for toothpaste and toothbrush, but the waiter put it at the door without being told, and was taken by others.

This hotel is in a great location. Right on the harbour, about a 10 min walk away from the cbd or ferries. There are several cafes, restaurants close by. The rooms are spacious however housekeeping is hit and miss. They virtually made bed and tidied bathroom sink only. Bins were never emptied and we were chasing them for provided milk, coffee and filtered water every day. Beds were super comfy with good pillows. Breakfast is lovely with continental and hot buffet with a la carte selection as well. Unlimited barista coffees. Great service at breakfast. The pool is heated and easy access with steps and rail. Concierge didnt seem to know much. Kept telling us about tram which ran every 30 mins but then someone on street said it had been changed to run only on Sundays. We had a major issue on our last night which was dealt with professionally and expediently. The staff particularly Lukas and Anastacia could not do enough for us and follow up by general manager when we got home was excellent. Overall this is a lovely hotel, well situated with everything you want right there. If you go to Auckland this is a perfect place to base yourself.

A reported "high profile" guest was coming to the hotel. The hotel team clearly lost control of the lobby with groupies all about the place, pandemonium, groups of men running thru carrying arms full of bottled water they brought from the outside, and crowding. It was not a pleasant experience during the afternoon of our stay as we could not enjoy the common spaces. Some "high profile" guest should not result in loss of control of the common areas of the hotel and make us "no profile" guests feel marginalized with the facility feeling like a football stadium rather than a high-end hotel. Our one-day stay was ruined.

Very friendly and competent staff. Great breakfast bar with gluten free options. Rooms comfortable good size. Big bathrooms with shower and bath. Great location close to harbour and city centre shopping and sights. Valet parking efficient and useful if a little pricey at NZ$50, but ok value compared to alternatives.

A well positioned hotel right on the marina. Breakfast was excellent and the staff there very attentive Check in staff were good and Conner in the lounge went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel welcome The day we arrived we had been travelling for what felt like a life time! I was feeling ill from travelling. Our suite wasn’t ready we were shown to the lounge for refreshments, very quickly (Lewis? Very cherpy reception staff) came and found us and said we were upgraded to the presidential suite. I was one happy bunny!!!!! Only downside is we have been charged $30 for the minibar we never used and despite us e mailing twice no reply sadly Apart from the charge really can’t fault the hotel and all the staff did a really good job

Good service over all! Blake, Edward, Celestia, Alex and Lucy. I had a spectacular cocktail and the atmosphere felt amazing. Definitely will be back to the grape and olive bar. The music made me feel really comfortable and the chat while paying made me feel happy with my purchase.
