We stopped at this hotel to stay one night after a long day with our three children. The room was disgusting. At first impression, we walked in the room and a large stain was on the bedspread. The sheets had holes in them. The pillow had mold on it, with a pillow case on top. The ceiling had mold on it. The bathroom ceiling had mildew, along with mildew in spots of the shower. At first we were going to stay, but the more I saw I knew we would not be able to rest properly. The outside of the hotel had guests hanging out smoking *********. This was not at all a family environment. We went to the desk to get our money back. We spoke with the manager on duty, and he said the owner would be back on Monday to investigate what we reported. He could not give us a refund back, that would be the owner's decision. Today is Monday, my credit card has been charged $287.15 and a refund of $58.00 was given. This is unacceptable and a very bad way to handle issues. Another room was offered, but we did not want to try. Every room should be in perfect condition. I have tried calling the hotel to speak with the manager on duty, but he is in a meeting.
