Absolutely beautiful with easy access to the beach. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance . They are pet friendly which is a big plus for us. The second and third floors are ocean views but there isn't an elevator so if you have health issues plan for the first floor which has a great view of the pool and grounds.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. It’s got an excellent location and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff is great and the premise is beautiful. Unfortunately the A/C was so loud we had to turn it off at night which meant the room was extremely hot. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves

We chose the seahorse for the pool, lemon bar and beach access. Unfortunately, the beach access was closed “due to maintenance” when we arrived. We weren’t informed of this prior, and we noticed no maintenance in the 4 days of our stay. We were able to walk over to public access, but this was a family vacation with small children. If you are going to charge a premium for beach access, you need to prioritize availability of the beach access. Besides the beach access issue, the location is great. The bed linens are awful. Scratchy sheets and towels.

Location, location, location!! We just happened to find this place by pure luck. It is a smaller, older motel but the rooms have been updated. The balconies have nice views of the pool area and partial ocean views (due to the dunes). We stayed in a second floor unit facing the beach. would definitely stay here again!!

I don’t write reviews often, but our experience, even before we booked, was nothing but positive and enjoyable. The staff is awesome! Amber, the manger , aims to please and Laura is super helpful. We loved our room, the beds, the atmosphere, everything was great!!! We will be back. The kids said, “the only bad thing we would say is they need a heated pool” LoL I agree, the ONLY thing we would change. Thank you Seahorse!!!

I was there on a business trip and the first night, the room phone rang at 1:30 in the morning. The person on the line angrily said that she was calling from the front desk and asked who I was and why I was in the room, as it was meant for someone else! I was still half-asleep after a long day of travel and told her my name and that that was the room I was given when I checked in. The next day I found out that the front desk person had actually brought someone up to the room, intending to let him in (the key making machine was broken, which was the only reason he wasn’t just given a key) and they only turned around and phoned because I had happened to put up the do not disturb sign. The motel itself was a cute Old Florida type place on the beach, near shops and restaurants, and normally I’d give it higher rating but I can’t recommend it until they shore up their guest safety guidelines.

The Seahorse has always been a favorite getaway resort since we first stayed here with a group of friends over 20 years ago! The quaint, oceanfront motel property remains popular, so was surprised when I was able to book Rm 220 for our anniversary last week! The front desk staff was very accommodating, including placing flowers/champagne in our room ahead of time, allowing us to check in early and check out late! All the rooms have been renovated, very comfy bed and the grounds are pristine - and a bonus of the best sunrise view from our window ever!

The Inn appears a bit outdated on the outside but do not let that deter you. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rates are pretty decent for the area, the rooms have wood flooring, beautiful, tiled showers and ample space in the bathroom. You can control your own thermostat and are literally about 500 yards from the beach. Spectacular views.

Asked for handicap room and was assigned a room on the ground level with a sliding door onto the patio. There was a grade level shower but the toilet did not have any grab bars. The bed was very comfortable; the room has everything you might need for a stay of a few days: fridge, microwave, closet, drawers, iron, hair dryer. Desk staff very pleasant. Short walk to many restaurants and shops. Only complaint: the tile floor (wood look tile in the bedroom) was dirty enough that I had to wipe my feet with a wet washcloth before putting on my shoes.
