The hotel facilities are relatively old and the hotel beach location is small. The advantage is that the toiletries are complete and the service staff are friendly.

Well it is family tradition to go there every November to celebrate the birthday of my lovely father we always gather all the family to celebrate this magnificent day we use to go to the restaurant there to eat the delicious food serve there and we also use to use the pool and the sea the sea is always stable but fill with rocks and small fishes that can bite you in the leg if it is full of sand I think it will be great to rocks hurt the feet and make it bleed thank you for the lovely service you provide there

The worst experience ever, worst service, dirty pools crowded beach and dirty rooms without any supervision or management you can find anywhere to help. I don’t understand why you have all the staff around the place if they don’t care or even understand what is their job description, what they know just to show up around and telling the guests what is not allowed, you may increase the number of security and send anyone else home.

I recently spent four days at Porto Sokhna in July, and my experience could have been more satisfactory. Upon arrival, I had to carry my luggage to the primary office near the bus station, only to find out it was exclusively for property owners. As a timeshare guest, I had to walk even further to the designated office for timeshare guests. The check-in process was slow, and I waited an excessive time for my chalet, which was quite remote from the main area. The staff, although presentable, seemed to prioritize other guests over timeshare visitors. The chalet had multiple issues, particularly with plumbing. The bus service could have been more reliable and better ventilated. Room service was difficult to reach, and the chalet had a fly infestation. Housekeeping took several calls to provide insecticide, which could have been more effective. During my stay, the receptionist suggested I purchase cleaning supplies from a nearby market and clean the chalet myself instead of requesting extensive cleaning services, which I found unusual and inconvenient. Surprisingly, basic amenities like salt, pepper, dishwashing detergent, and cleaning sponges were not provided. The bus driver's frequent unavailability and personal use of the bus were unprofessional, leaving me feeling unprepared and inconvenienced. The beach was difficult to access and quite far from the main area. The nearest beach was reserved for property owners, while timeshare guests were directed to a less desirable beach. This beach was overcrowded, and finding a chair under an umbrella was challenging. There were also persistent vendors selling overpriced sweets. Overall, the service was disappointing. The staff and other guests' behavior made me feel unwelcome and overlooked. I do not recommend Porto Sokhna and advise potential guests to consider other options.

The bus driver was often unavailable and used the bus for personal trips, which was deeply unprofessional. The beach was difficult to access and quite far from the main area. The nearest beach was reserved for property owners, while timeshare guests were directed to a less desirable beach. This beach was overcrowded with laborers, and finding a chair under an umbrella was challenging. There were also persistent vendors selling overpriced sweets. Overall, the service was remarkably disappointing. The staff and other guests' behavior made me feel unwelcome. I do not recommend Porto Sokhna and advise potential guests, mainly from Europe or the USA, to consider other options.

I am having the worst experience right now with the hotel Reservation Manager. I booked 3 nights through another website at the hotel and chose to pay at the property, they requested my credit card as insurance and that the amount will be deducted in case I didn't show. I added my credit card but received a message that the full amount was holded by the hotel as a deposit, then they sent me that there is maintenance in the hotel during my stay! So I sent them, is it logical to take the full amount as a deposit! at least they should hold 1 night as a deposit, also it was not mentioned anywhere that this will happen so they should've asked! also I told him that an info like having maintenance should be mentioned before I do the booking not after! So without any explanation from their side or without a reply they just offered a free cancellation, so I picked that option and cancelled my reservation. The amount deducted is not refunded yet! and I am trying to reach to them over the phone and no one responds. By Message they told me that the unhold will be done after 10 to 15 days from the hold date! This is actually the worst reservation experience ever! I am still waiting for the refund and the bank told me that the transaction is still on hold by the hotel they have nothing to do!
