Hotel is near to the Mishima JR station (about 7-10 mins’ walk instead of the stated 3 mins) but it was at the opposite side of the station where all the eateries and amenities were. Could get really dark to walk from the station especially for the ladies. Public bath/onsen was not bad but the outdoor pool was overhyped. There was a cold pool, sauna too. There are 2 massage chairs. Overall, an dated hotel that serves its purpose for a brief stay with tea and coffee dispenser in the lobby.

This hotel is right next to the Mishima train station for both regular JR trains and Shinkansen trains on Tokyo-Osaka line. One can walk in without even cross the road. Access if from the first floor (ground) and the reception is in the second floor. There is a small shopping area in the ground floor. Rooms are of good size with separate seating area. Beds are comfortable and have all facilities expected in a first class hotel. More importantly the toilet and bathroom are in sperate enclosures. If one gets the station side rooms, one could see Mt Fuji in all its glory. Breakfast is good with a choice of Japanese and western dishes; and staff is quite helpful. The only issue is that noise insulation could be little better; it is certainly not comparable to what we found in a hotel situated next to a busy train track.

Last time I chose ”room with hot springs”, but this time I stayed in a Japanese room with 8 tatami mats. 真的超乎我的想象，酒店離JR走路5分鐘之內，房間是老式酒店，還用着很傳統的房間鑰匙，喲定的是不含早餐的房間，但是依然為我們準備了早餐（可頌和香蕉），房間的衞生也很不錯，洗浴用品是POLA的，也貼心準備了睡衣，房間大小也比東京好太多。出門的時候前台大叔還會貼心提醒我們箱根可能要下雨，讓我們記得帶傘。這個價格真的是性價比超高，下次如果還來這裏的話我依舊會選擇這家酒店！

The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator).
