Everything about our stay was Perfect! Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful views, wonderful staff, fun to watch the massive vessels slowly drift right outside your window, and being spoiled with the Rolls Royce ride for dinner. Will definitely be back!

Be warned.. We booked this as a mini getaway to destress. We upgraded to a suite for the water view with a bath by the window. I was so excited to look at the water from the bath. We got the only suite with a parking lot view where people can see into your bathroom. When I asked what could be done, I was told to close my blinds and corrected that it's a river not an ocean. Great, thanks for the information but not helpful. The only reason the service gets 2 stars is the spa was really great.

Location and views are great. The rooms are nicely furnished. They are rather small, especially considering the price charged (mid week in October). Breakfast is very nice. They replaced the wine hour with a voucher at the bar. That voucher doesn’t buy you a lot at the rather expensive bar ( this is Astoria, not NYC). The hotel very clean and well maintained. Everyone working there is very friendly and helpful.

Spent two nights at Cannery Pier. We had a corner suite with panoramic views of the Columbia River. The room was wonserful and bed comfortable, Breakfast was amazing as was the voucher for evening drinks. Small plates were also available. While not inexpensive the setting was well worth. Being literally on the water the river and all boat traffic was an added bonus. The staff were top notch. Astoria is a a delightful town w great history and attractions. Would definitely do this again.

We stayed for one night in the 1st floor double queen with 2 dogs. View was amazing. Pet fee was $100 plus tax. They taxed the room then taxed the pet fee separately which is unlike any other hotel. Pet fee is usually a flat fee. The wall next to the toilet was white and splattered with something brown (feces to be sure). No apologies for that when informed the staff, seemed they couldn’t care less. Was a no smoking property (balconies included), but a guest 2 balconies down was chain smoking at night and it was being ****** into our room by the window and air conditioning system. Had to call twice to report it and front desk didn’t seem to be willing to confront the guest to stop the smoking. So $600+ a night to have a poop splattered wall and a hotel room filling up with cigarette smoke when your trying to go to sleep. I would call this “luxury” accommodations. The view was great and the location to town was good. Bed was comfortable.

We loved the staff. The views are amazing! We loved hearing the ships blowing the horns in the fog. Great breakfast and amenities too! The vibe here is just so fun and relaxing.
