Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast

Anna and Brian, our Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast Inn keepers provided my wife and I an exceptional stay on our recent journey. We booked the Lithia room, which is a detached studio with ensuite and couldn't be happier. Having not stayed in Ashland before, I had contacted Anna prior to booking/arriving for descriptions of the available rooms and dinner recommendations. Anna was very responsive and helped us set up a perfect visit. We arrived in the late afternoon and were greeted with tea/coffee and biscuits while we sat and chatted in the spacious living room of the B&B, after which Anna showed us to our room. The room was quite comfortable and kitted out with all that we could need, including an electric fireplace that lent a cozy feeling. Others have mentioned the bespoke breakfasts that Anna serves her guests and we can attest that ours was delicious. Savory galette's and egg with an asparagus accompaniment, as well as fresh fruit, tea, and/or coffee. Simply delicious. Check in and check out was a breeze and we found ourselves wishing we were staying longer. We will most certainly stay with Anna and Brian again and highly recommend the Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast for those looking for a welcoming, pampered experience.

A wonderful place to stay. Welcoming atmosphere. Very close to downtown Ashland (8 minutes). We love to come here, Delicious food, tasty treats. Also has a garden area. Anna is exceptional. Has great knowledge of places to go. Attention to detail. We highly recommend.

I almost hate to say too much because this is a small establishment so might get too busy for me to get my reservation. Yes, Anna and Brian ARE the tops. The facility is now located close to the newest Tesla Supercharger in the area. Did I mention the local theaters? Tops, too.

We expected a good night sleep, good food and very nice host and hostess . We have already booked the room for next year.

You know a place is great when you continue to return to it year after year for 20 years. Oakhill is a fantastic B&B just outside of downtown Ashland. It’s lovely with the amenities you want at a B&B. Both the rooms and outdoor sitting areas are comfortable and relaxing. Innkeepers Anna and Brian are lovely and make guests feel welcomed. The breakfasts are amazing as Anna is a 1st class baker. The touches of baked cookies daily, a fabulous espresso machine, a comfortable living room as well as rooms to fit many needs enhances one’s stay. Their knowledge of Ashland is also helpful and valuable even to the most seasoned theater goer.

Wonderful place, the way B&Bs used to be. Anna is a warm and hospitable host, and a great cook; the breakfasts are scrumptious. I was working remotely and everything was great. Safe parking, quiet, nice garden, thoughtful touches such as a guest fridge, lots of power strips.
