Kimpton Hotel Arras

We had only one night in Asheville and this was the perfect place for us. Great service, nice room, and afternoon wine. Most especially, it was perfectly located for a quick visit. We walked everywhere in the 1.5 days that we had. We loved the hotel and the town. We hope to return.

Friendly, efficient staff. Easy check in and out. Room was large, well furnished and appointed, with a great view of the city and mountains through floor-to-ceiling windows. Elegant lobby and bar. Easy walking location in downtown. Complaints. Don't serve $10/bottle wine at the social hour in a $600/night hotel.

Fabulous hotel. Stayed over the 4th July in the middle of our road trip across the US. It was one of the nicest places we stayed. Room was lovely with a view of the fireworks. Staff were excellent, although service at the restaurant was a little slow. The only real disappointment we had here were dogs. The hotel obviously allows and even encourages them, but when dogs are left alone they bark. Despite contacting reception several times it took a couple of hours for them to sort it.

Nicki was so helpful. I was alone with an 18-month old and needed assistance grabbing something from my car. She offered to get it and saved me so much trouble. The entire staff has accommodated us - early check-in, microwave for bottles. Couldn’t be happier.

Great service, easily the most attentive staff and valet service we’ve encountered in a while. Walking distance to everything in downtown and really enjoyed saying hello to the well-behaved dogs also staying here. Well appointed rooms, and ask for the foam pillows!

The valet team was incredibly kind and supportive- a wonderful and beautiful hotel where I was welcomed with big hearts and open arms. Definitely worth a visit while your stay in Asheville takes you from this extraordinary space outside into a small yet unique world of its own inside a crystal ball where miracles reside. We would give this spectacular hotel ten stars if we could! Our room (406 with 2 queens) was spacious and ultra comfortable, with careful attention to design and convenience. Super comfortable bed, fantastic shower, separate toilet, tons of storage and counterspace, and many other great amenities. What makes this hotel stand out even more is the service. The front desk was able to accommodate any request we had, even loaning us accessories we forgot! From them to the valet and restaurant staff, every employee was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We can’t wait to come back!

We sprang for the luxury suite mountain view, and boy, was it worth it. We have spent more money for much less satisfaction in the past. This is a great hotel in a great location with wonderful breakfasts, a friendly and professional staff, beautiful views, comfy beds, and terrific service. You can't go wrong making a reservation here.

Walk everywhere, but you might not want to leave the beautifully appointed room! Restaurants, shops, and galleries are all a short walk away. The hotel is staffed with courteous and knowledgeable professionals. We travel a LOT, and this hotel is one of my all time favorites.
