This is not a 5 star property. Two specific gripes: One, no directions driving are provided to the hotel - excluding an email sent at 1PM the day prior to our arrival - so, one does not realize the google maps gps will attempt to get you to the hotel via a way that is IMPOSSIBLE to navigate with in a car. This caused us to accidentally damaged the rental car to the tune of $1400. Second gripe, there was a major photo expedition taking place in Arles which we were not told about when my wife inquired, when checking in, about going about town. Major disappointment; we would definately have gone. The quality of the linens was super poor. All in all, terribly disappointed.
The hotel we checked into after this one, also through *******, contacted us through whatsapp which is a much better way to communicate something as pressing as how to get to the hotel - which included completely counter intuitive instructions like going the wrong way on a one way street - in a better way than an email which I'm not screening while on vacation. If this second hotel could achieve this why not L'Particulier. Needless to say I was very disappointed with our choice.
