Beautiful Gem!
Lovely hotel in wonderful town with excellent restaurants. Nice bathroom and comfortable room. Helpful front desk staff and nice library seating area. Staff also made reservations at Casa Xurde - don’t miss out on dinner there! Nice hikes nearby. Amazing value !

Excelente en todo. El entorno, las habitaciones bonitas y cómodas. El personal superamable. El desayuno a la carta estupendo, calidad y variedad. No pudimos usar la piscina por mal tiempo pero el espacio es muy bonito y cuidado. La sala común es muy agradable, bien decorada y acogedora. Tiene una biblioteca fabulosa. Lo recomiendo 100%

A great base to stay during our 6 days motorcycle touring vacation of the Picos Europa. Great roads and instant access to the foothills leading to the mountain region. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was limited, but in a facility that was secure gated at night-time. The breakasts were additional, well-prepared and adequate. The small town has good value bars /restaurants and we dined locally each evening. The town also has two supermarkets which would suffice for any persons self-catering or staying air BnB. Local cash-machine and petrol station also handy. Would definately stay here again.

Buena ubicación si quieres hacer la ruta del Cares, ir hasta Bulnes, etc. Solamente tomé un café con leche grande en el desayuno y para ser amante del café no me gustó. Las vistas desde la piscina son maravillosas eso sí. La habitación en la 3ª planta es preciosa y grande porque tiene un espacio con sofás y televisión y otro con la cama, además de tener las ventanas con vistas a la montaña. Dos cosas negativas: el agua caliente tarda en salir por lo menos 5’ o más por lo que es un derroche de litros y litros de agua señores; la CAMA es de mala calidad siento mucho decir esto, entiendo que los colchones buenos son caros pero hay un término medio también. 70€ pagamos a finales de septiembre-23 por una noche.

Great location in the centre of town on the great road of AS114. Great sized room, which was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a little strange and was served to us from a menu, it seemed a little disorganised though was very tasty when it arrived with a good cup of proper tea! Massive shout out to the lady on reception who was so kind when we arrived very wet and soggy, on a motorbike, bringing us out an umbrella in the pouring rain and letting us park under a small lean to, thus keeping the bike dry. Unfortunately there was no restaurant or it was shut, not sure which, that was the only downside as unknowingly we arrived in the middle of a cheese festival and it was difficult to find somewhere to eat.

Ideally situated for exploring the Picos. The village itself has several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable with a great mountain view. A good breakfast.

Super accueil personnel aux petits soins chambre grande et très propre. L’hôtel est très agréable à vivre avec la piscine après les randonnées ! Le lit est très confortable avec fenêtre sur le Rio carres et les montagnes Parking au pied de l’hôtel !!!

Lovely staff who were extremely helpful, even after we left and had to return for forgotten items!. Good base for walks in the area. Hotel a little tired, felt it could do with some new investment, didn't seem to be many staying when we were there. Rooms were clean, we had a twin (big) and a double (not so big), nice bathrooms. Our rooms were roadside which we found quite noisy in the evening and early hours. If staying again I would see if rooms were available at the rear. Small cart park to the front of the hotel had some creative parking at time! but a larger car park is also available. Hotel has no restaurant but there are plenty of options in Las arenas. We didn't particularly rate the breakfast, so only had it once at the hotel. It wasn't awful, just not as good as the previous place we stayed.
