Adorei os dias que lá passei. É simplesmente um local bastante calmo para relaxar, com piscina e muito verde à volta. O pequeno almoço é maravilhoso, tudo feito pela Sra. Elisabete. Recomendo vivamente a estadia e espero voltar um dia. Vale a pena!

During the month of April, my family and I had the exceptional opportunity to stay at Peneda Quinta Ecológica, an experience that exceeded all our expectations of a sustainable and harmonious retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality, with particular emphasis on our canine host, Levi, whose friendly and enthusiastic presence added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. Every day, Levi welcomed us with effusive joy. As a reward and affection, we bought him sausages and other treats, a small return for his constant company. Elisabete, with her deep care and attention to detail, ensured that every aspect of our experience reflected the values ​​of sustainability and connection with nature. Together with Pedro and his daughters Joana and Marta, they are a family that practices the Quinta’s ethos with conviction and love. The tranquility of the Quinta is palpable, immersed in organic farming and permaculture practices. This harmony with the land is manifested in the food served - each meal was a celebration of local cuisine, fresh and deliciously prepared, promoting moments of true communion among everyone present. Peneda Quinta Ecológica’s vision and mission of fostering both ecological and human balance are vividly present in every facet of its operation. They not only practice what they preach, but invite everyone who visits to share and learn from this transformative experience. We recommend and we will be back

A truly welcoming, complete and inspiring place. The friendliness and authenticity of Elisabete and Pedro (hosts) and Joana and Marta (daughters), the quality and flavors of the food, the comfort and good taste of the rooms, the wonderful view and all the surroundings and possibilities to enjoy the nature of Gerês. The experience was very welcoming, we were treated like family and the meals were diverse and excellent, allowing contact between guests and family, as desired. The week we spent here was intended to allow us to disconnect from our daily lives and reconnect a little with Nature, and without a doubt, it fulfilled those objectives. The rooms were large and spacious, with a great view, which gave us a wonderful feeling of rest. And the fact that we have a small dining area in each room made it possible to have some family snacks in our space. Thank you Elizabete and family for everything! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I spent 3 days on this beautiful farm at the end of July 2022. If we had known how much we would like it there, we would certainly have planned a longer stay. The farm is embedded in nature, but easy to reach from Arcos de Valdevez or Ponte da Barco. The old farmhouse was recently carefully and tastefully restored and expanded to include several guest rooms and a pool. The furnishings of the rooms leave nothing to be desired. The hosts are warm and attentive: Elisabete, an enthusiastic cook, provided us with a varied and plentiful breakfast and served us a delicious three-course menu on the terrace in the evening. The ingredients come from the farm's own organic garden and the region. Pedro went to great lengths to provide us with tips for excursions in the area, especially the national park. We were able to enjoy a refreshing swim in the mountain streams, the Lagoas da Travanca, the Cascatas do Soajo or the Poco das Caldeiras, natural beauties that we would hardly have found without Pedro's help. On the day we left, he put together a route for us that took us to other places of interest. We can recommend this farm without reservation.
