I was worried that it would be noisy next to the station, but the actual experience of sound insulation is not bad, and it does not affect rest. For meals, you can take one stop from Shin-Aomori to Aomori Station, which is lively there, and check in at A-FACTORY and the Pier Nebuta Festival.
