Very friendly staff, the pool and the beach are very well maintained. The location of the hotel is between Piran and Portorož and there are many quiet and nice restaurants for evening outings. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and a magnificent sunset.

Chosen at random from many offers, Rezidenca Ortus was a pleasant starting point to discover the area. Adequate room (very comfortable mattress), fast WiFi, good housekeeping, small but nice bathroom with super shower, comfortable terrace, TV with only one channel in Italian. Unfortunately, in our room there were neither shutters nor blackout curtains and in the morning we were woken up early by the light coming through the window, there was no bidet. The spa is available to customers: two super saunas, changing room and clean showers, relaxation area with fruit and flavored water always available. Unfortunately we did not have time to experience the various massage packages and the salt cave. Buffet breakfast, with a choice of sweet and savory, hot and cold foods. The quality can definitely be improved but still pleasant. The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, the sea is not far away (ten minutes on foot). Unfortunately there is nothing around the structure but in ten minutes by car you can reach Muggia or Capodistria.

When I entered the reservation accommodation, there was no cleaning and lack of bedding. Thank you for upgrading the room by problem. But when I checked out, I had to pay 14 euros for the city tax presented on the reservation voucher, not 10 euros. I'm angry.

This property is nice, styled in the Baroque period. Staff are friendly (Eastern Euro friendly that is... not bad, just different from”Western” friendly), and have been helpful (Jem, Sarah, Maria.) The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I would not describe this property as an American luxury hotel, but it is certainly very nice. The toiletries and towels are skimpy, however sufficient. The breakfast buffet is certainly less in quantity than other hotels in Croatia offer in Rijeka, but the food is GOOD and fresh, there is cerals, scrambled eggs, yogurts, cheeses, breads, meats, juices and HOT coffee that tastes great. You won't be hungry with this buffet. The other reviews that complain are just whiners. The ONLY negative with this property is that the AC in each room (we had 2 rooms) are: noisy, barely cool and do smell musty. We opened the windows since it cools down nicely at night but there are no screens, so the mosquitos come in, so it is a catch 22: be warm or be bitten by bugs. Overall, I would stay here again.

This was our first trip to Hotel Riviera in Portoroz, Slovenia. Lovely hotel and lovely resort. So clean and nice staff. Excellent value for money .Good to be able to visit sister hotels with superb indoor pools.at the Lifeclass Spa.all within walking distance. All free for guests Great choice at breakfast and dinner. Easy walk to bars at night.. We had a sea view room which I would recommend Lovely seafront private area just over the road. Quality. .Have to pay for loungers however Piran is a must see, just a short bus ride away and we also managed a day trip to Lake Bled and a nice day out to Trieste In Italy
