The Lamb at Angmering

Great village pub and hotel! The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The in-laws stayed in the one of the rooms for several nights and were very happy with the room amenities and the food the had on the 2 occasions they ate in the restaurant.

Arrived early afternoon, staying at a local campsite, intended to have a few drinks and some snacks… lady behind the bar was so frosty , snobby and unhelpful. We did have an expensive round of drinks due to the wet weather but left and went to the spotted cow ( gorgeous pub and welcoming)going back to the lamb we would not recommend… food also looked poor and over priced in the lamb !!

Had friends staying for the weekend, it’s great to have such a lovely pub/restaurant within walking distance. Great food great service, what more could you ask for. Really like we can get a pint from the bar before going into the restaurant side of the pub.

Very comfortable stay, lovely rooms and comfortable beds, with everything you could need. Very tasty breakfasts, excellent food in the a la carte restaurant. The lovely staff are accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We will happily stay here again if in the area

The Lamb at Angmering is a great place to stay for one night or one week. Its in a beautiful village, the staff are wonderful. I recently stayed and had the most fantastic evening meal. Chargrilled Ribeye was on the special and boy was it special!!! Service by the team was spot on especially Poppy. If you get a chance you must stay here and experience the hospitality and food.

We arrived and were greeted by a friendly person at reception. We booked in, and she showed us to our room, which was a room adjacent to the pub. It was a big room with a large king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. We had two evening meals at the pub. They were delicious, made with local meat and vegetables. I would definitely recommend this pub.

We booked into the hotel for one night late October. The room was beautifully appointed with a comfy bed, excellent bathroom and a nook but over expensive for what you get. The breakfast was an English serving, minimal for the price demanded. One of everything only per plate looked lost honestly.

We stayed at The Lamb for a weekend while in England for a family wedding. The accommodation was very clean with a good selection of toiletries in the ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and the bed was really comfortable. We had breakfasts each morning which were lovely with a good selection available and we had a meal in the restaurant on Saturday night which was excellent. From check in to check out all of the staff were very friendly and helpful with a special mention to the ladies that do the daily room refresh who went out of their way to help us. If you are in the area and need somewhere to stay we would definitely recommend The Lamb.

We had a warm friendly welcome. Our rooms were not enormous but very well planned. We had good tv, coffee machine, kettle mugs and both still and sparkling water. Bed linen very nice. Good shower with plenty hot water. The highlight of our stay was the meal. Good menu and superbly cooked and presented food.
