First and foremost, I’d like to say that the staff here are all wonderful people. Indeed the best part of my stay. Hotel pluses: - Parking is great. - Location is close enough to get to anywhere easily. - Friendly helpful staff. - Comfy bed. - TV channels are great. - Laundry room & machines are well maintained and clean. - Rooms are a nice size. - Great wifi Hotel minuses: - Dated, could use some love. - What needs to look clean does but if you want a hotel that is actually clean everywhere , this is not your place. - Carpets need a cleaning desperately, in rooms and in all hallways. - There was always a weird smell in the hallway and in my room. Given that there are kitchenettes in each room, a bit of a cooking smell is expected. But this was ALL the time and was quite sour. - The room was clean enough when I checked in, bathroom wasn’t exactly clean. The tub and toilet were still dirty, I went to the grocery store and bought some cleaning products to take care of it. I did also buy some antibacterial room spray for the carpet & curtains to help with the smell. Helped a little bit but still slept with the window open a crack. - I was there 9 nights, was told that if I wanted housekeeping to my room it was an extra charge. Honestly for $169 American a night, housekeeping should be included at least once. I know it’s hard to find staff after covid and I think I can contribute a few of the minuses to that fact. If they cleaned the carpets and gave the curtains a run through the wash on a regular basis, hired a few more staff and maybe had a few more set rules for noise after a certain time. I’d stay again but not until those things happen could I give more than two stars to this place.

I had a very wonderful experience at the Hampton inn in Haverhill. The atmosphere is so relaxed, and it's very clean, and the service was just outstanding! I am both deaf and have difficulty with my legs, and everybody was so helpful to me. It was wonderful to take a bath in the handicapped accessible bathtub! I haven't been able to take a real bath in years! I will be sure to bring my bath salts the next time around, LOL! And the breakfast was to die for, waffles, omelets, fresh fruit, and the coffee was perfect. I have never had a bad experience at a Hampton inn, but this was an exceptional stay. I just became a Hilton rewards client, and I plan to be staying at Hampton inns a lot in the next year as I travel. Thank you so much for the service you provided.

Service and Amenities section would have scored “5” if there was an iron in the room. The ironing board was present.
Location is tricky because you learn from listening to Directions that you must drive through a plaza and pass a Planet Fitness, then take a right turn. Some signage to Property would be helpful.
Otherwise, I had a great stay, and will go again.

While this hotel was a little higher price than we normally pay, it was worth every penny. Our 7th floor king room looked almost brand new and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. This was one of the quietest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, not even any noise from the hallway. The wifi was fast and reliable. There was a small fridge in the room and a microwave available in the lobby/vending area. The walk-in shower and spacious bathroom felt like something from a much more expensive hotel. While there is not any dining or shopping within walking distance, the location is convenient to Boston and Concord/Lexington.

Stayed for a week at this location. Parking is plentiful and comes at no charge. The property could use a renovation as it's dated and showing the wear of the years. The floors in the room squeak/pop. The room was sufficient, clean, and comfortable. The television had plenty of channels including HBO 1 and 2. Breakfast was pretty good and always well stocked. I'd still stay again if I were in the area, to accumulate Hilton Honors points.

Dont the unique decor of the hotel fool you. Outside the decor of the hotel, the rest is just gabbage, it shouldn't be part of the Hilton branch. I travel into Boston every week on assignment and it so happen that am currently staying in this hotel right now. I always have great experience in all the Hilton hotels I have been staying with except this particular one. I am suppose to be staying here for 4 days, and 3 day into my stay. Last night, as I was relaxing and having a cup of wine, the glass felt off my hand and spill on the bed. I had to use a towel to cover that side of the bed in order to be able to sleep on the bed till in the morning. I got in touch with the front desk at 7am this morning before going to work to let them know that I needed my bed sheet changed due to the spill drink. The lady at the front desk, assured me that it will be changed before I get back. when I got back from work at 3pm and got to my room, the bed sheet is still not changed. I called the front desk, to enquire as to why it wasn't changed. BILL at the front desk answered the phone and told me that, am not staying more than 4 days so, my room cant be clean. If I need towels, it can be send up stairs. I had to let him know again that, I had stopped at the front desk earlier today to let them know why I needed my bed sheet changed. From this point onwards he became condescending and repeat the same thing he said earlier of me not staying more than 4 days, and as I was about to say I will go down stairs to collect the bedsheet, he hang the phone on my ear. I call again to ask what was his reason for hanging up the phone on me, he didn't pick the phone. After that, I went down stairs to talk to him in person, and all he could say is, ”I did not hang up the phone, I thought you hang up, Maybe the phone got disconnected”. what a LAME ASS EXCUSE, for been UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! This is the WORST experience I have ever had at a Hilton hotel and will never stay here again. Can't wait to check out

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe immensely enjoyed our stay at the newly renovated Andover Inn. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as royal guests by the Inn’s attentive staff and manager extraordinaire Brian. Thanks to Brian’s impromptu American history talk, we learned about the notable guests who visited the Inn and the illustrious history of Phillips Andover Academy. Brian also made our visit most memorable by suggesting we visit the nearby Addison Gallery. Highly recommend, the superbly managed Andover Inn.
GGuest UserWe just got back from taking our kids on a couple nights away trip and I must say the rooms are Clean and the AC worked very well . Grab and Go Breakfast was decent and everyone found something. Lots of Games Outside and pool is small but kids didn't mind . Staff was always helpful. I had to go down to front desk and purchase a couple of things and while I was waiting my turn this woman was screaming at the girl behind the counter it was awful to witness this type of behavior but she was very rude even outside with other guest . After the crazy lady Ieft I spoke to the young Lady working and told her she was extremely professional and should not have been treated that way . She thanked me and helped me with whatever I needed the entire stay . Rebecca this Company is so lucky to have you . You were so Helpful with not only my family but with any Guest that needed something. When Rebecca's shift was over another young lady Shirley came on and she again was Helpful , always greeted us with a smile. Bravo sonesta you have quite the Staff . Thank you Girls so much for making our trip Amazing . We will be back soon !
GGuest UserWe were only staying one night so this is the type of hotel we like. Plus, being Marriott Bonvoy members, we were given a room on a high floor away from the elevator. Yay. Check-in was seamless. We were in our suite style room in minutes. I like the expanded space this hotel offers with a desk/kitchenette area separate from the sleeping area. Our room looked out over the wooded area at the back of the hotel but given this hotel's location at the end of the road, I don't think there would be much noise either way. The breakfast area was a little crowded by the way the food is set up in an alcove. But nothing that can't be overcome with a little patience. They offered the standard far of scrambled eggs, sausage patties and waffles. Given our limited time, this was the perfect stop. Would be happy to return.
GGuest UserHilton Honors This past weekend we were camping in New Hampshire. We had two days left on our vacation when sudden lightning storms were moving in. We decided as a family to fold up our tents and call it quits. Well my young granddaughters began crying, this fueled me to call my Hilton Honors and book a couple of rooms for my family of nine. I was on the phone in private to make the reservations and surprise the family. The women on the phone from Hilton Honors was very helpful. She found what she explained was 2 one bedroom suites with fireplaces and all kinds of wonderful things for the whole family. It was in the Laconia NH area just 31 minutes south of where we were. This was perfect because we had to all travel south to head home. As we were traveling towards the property my wife read the email the woman sent me and it was in Andover/ Boston Massachusetts. This is over an hour away. I called the hotel (Homewood Suites) and the hotel clerk told me we could not cancel the reservation and change it to the Laconia one I had made originally. Extremely frustrated I said I’m not gonna ruin this thing I was trying to do. So off to Andover we went. Upon arrival the clerk (the same one I spoke to on the phone) told me they were over booked and they were trying to accommodate us. My entire family was now sitting in the waiting area (9 of us 5 adults 2 toddlers and 2 teenaged girls) waiting patiently for our rooms. We are now wet and just tired from camping, packing and driving. Now the clerk takes us to a 2 bedroom suite that we were ok with and said we would take it. After a few minutes the clerk calls the room and says we can’t stay in this room and that we had to come back to the front desk. All 9 of us went back to the front desk and she informed us that the room was already reserved so I asked like ours was already reserved? She smiled and said the manager was on his way. He arrived 20 minute later and sat at the front desk trying to fiqure out what went wrong. Half and hour later he called us up and explained how Hilton Honors completely messed up our reservation, they over booked like they always do. (His words not mine). He then explained he was trying to accommodate us as best as he could. After about an hour of waiting my wife very frustrated walked up to the desk and asked have we found a room yet?? The girl said “oh yes here’s your Keys”. Wow they couldn’t call us up to the desk while we were 15 feet away waiting for almost 2 hours in total! We all walked to the rooms on the third floor. The first room we walked into was full of empty drinking bottles, unmade beds, towels and garbage everywhere. I called the front desk and she put half my family completely on the other side of the hotel. ( I forgot to mention I was promised adjoining rooms). We were finally after almost 3 hours we were in our rooms! Not once did this manager or his staff come to me and say I am so sorry for any inconveniences we or Hilton Honors may hav
The hotel was perfect. The room was clean, the staff were very nice. The gym was new and clean as well. We were upgraded to the 2-room suite with 2 double beds. The shower design was very intelligent, having a door that fully closed instead of a gross curtain. Netflix was available in the room and the AC was perfect. The beds were plenty comfortable and we felt very valued as status holders. The breakfast was delicious and featured many options. As a platinum elite ambassador with Marriott Bonvoy I have stayed in numerous hotels - and for this one night trip in Andover I was pleasantly surprised!
We booked a one night stay to celebrate our daughter's birthday with friends and family. My in-laws flew in from Florida and were staying at the hotel all week. We requested a two bedroom suite next to them. The hotel said they could accommodate our request. When we went to check in there was no one at the reception desk. Eventually some rude woman asked if we were all set. I told her I was there to check in. She said they moved our reservations to the Springhill Marriott down the street. No one emailed or called me to inform me of this change. I asked if it was a two bedroom suite and she said no. She said the new room had two queen beds. She said that because my original suite technically had two queen beds, one in each bedroom that this was comparable and that I could take it or leave it. This change of plans had our family split between two hotels. Not ideal for a party. Additionally, the new room didn't have a kitchen or living room with a pullout sofa like we had planned. I understand that the hotel had a sprinkler malfunction and it flooded out half the hotel but giving away our room and not notifying us was beyond unprofessional. Can I also say that there were two police in the lobby because the hotel was having difficulty evicting a resident from one of the flooded rooms and that this hotel serves as a shelter for the state. I wish I had know this before booking. I feel like other future customers should know this. Needless to say this place operates more like a shelter than an actual hotel. How this place can call themselves a Marriott is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
JJnL TI got the best experience with the staff from the moment I checked in Lisa was so welcoming thank me for being a diamond member and ask if there's anything else she could do and gave me a nice warm cookie. very happy Then I went to the dining area where I met Lisa which was one of the bartenders and I got the same nice warm welcome she was very attentive and anything I needed was taking care of immediately. Which was very impressive because there was a full bar. I definitely will be back and recommend it to my company to bring all our people of people here. Very nice experience all around
