We recently stayed here for a five night stay, and I was very apprehensive after reading negative reviews. There were both positives and negatives- the positives include very kind and accommodating staff, clean and welcoming lobby, lovely pool area (not overly large but clean), easy walking distance to Disneyland Resort and the Anaheim Convention Center. The hotel does not have inside corridors, therefore if you want natural light in your room, you will expose your room to anyone walking by. They were doing renovations during our stay and very loud grinding/drilling noises occurred during the afternoons which made it impossible to rest (we understand that it happens and can’t be a quiet task but it did negatively impact our stay). Our hotel room was clean, however the king size bed only had sheets and one thin blanket. No dust ruffle on the two twin box springs and it looked very cheap. The bathroom was huge however the shower head made no sense. Water had no choice to spill everywhere because the head was so close to the wall, and it was not adjustable unless you wanted to use it as a hand held sprayer. Another negative was the elevator; it was a glass elevator that just trapped heat and felt like an oven. We stayed on the fifth floor and took the stairs rather than the elevator just because of how hot it was inside. The hotel does have a nice restaurant on property and there is a Starbucks across the street. Panera and McDonald’s are within a five minute walk. Overall the hotel was fine, it worked for what we needed and I’d consider staying there again if we were to return to the area.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The modern clean design through out the hotel was lovely and made it feel suitable for adults too. Although the hotel is surprisingly kid friendly. We stayed in a large studio with king bed, bunk beds and a full kitchen. The Westin Heavenly bed was wonderful. If I was traveling with children the room set up would have been quite comfortable. The provided breakfast was delicious with good variety. It was very thoughtful all food item allergens were clearly marked. The staff kept the food area clean. Hotel location was great. 10 minute walk to Disneyland entrance.

The room was OK, but there was no shuttle bus to Disneyland. You had to walk more than a kilometer. It was not worth taking an Uber for more than ten dollars because you had to go around and walk. Anyway, there were a lot of people in the morning and evening, but it was really not close. The breakfast was really terrible, Mexican breakfast, two women were responsible for confirming the room card, one was responsible for cleaning, one was responsible for confirming, and a male chef, there was no hot milk 🥛, only Mexican scrambled eggs and cheese scrambled eggs, cereal, no vegetables, just dry bread, really bad. I will not choose Hilton next time. It is very noisy next to the road. I can hear all kinds of beeps from 911 all day long.

Location: There is a bus stop in front that goes to Disneyland. It cost $6 for a pass for 1 day for adult. Some food around the hotel.
Room: size is good for 4, 2 adults and 2 children. 2 bath tub in the toilet. Good for family. Aircon noise is abit noisy. Otherwise all is good
Breakfast: Not alot of option but quite good. The kids love to do the waffle in mickey mouse shape.
Overall, good value for us.

Booked separately in two days, communicated at the front desk and changed to a unified room type (but not up but down...), the room got to the second floor without an elevator 🛗, you have to lift your luggage up by yourself, and the most embarrassing thing is that there is glass on the roof early in the morning Wake up at six o'clock when the sun rises, you need to wear an eye mask! ...... Children can play in the water world, which is not bad. It is a ten-minute walk from Disney, and there is a place to eat opposite. There is also a small supermarket on the first floor of Building 1 of the hotel where you can buy snacks and drinks

I am writing this review as I sit down in one of their rooms. I chose this hotel while visiting relatives over the Holidays. The hotel definitely older but located in a prime location, next to lots of restaurants, shops, movie theater and grocery store. One of the big draw to this property was Free Parking as many hotels in this area charges a lot for parking; however prepare yourself to fight for the spot in the back of the building (especially at night as they only offer limited spaces. There are plenty parking spots in the front.) I opted out Housekeeping service during my stay due to COVID concern. Upon arrival, I noticed the housekeeping was just OK. There was residue left inside of the microwave tray, stains on the kitchen floor, bathroom had a strong smell of mildew. Breakfast option is minimal. They rotate offerings daily. It can get crowded so I chose to bring back to the room and consume. Biggest issue of this property is the noise! The noise travels quite a bit and I can hear every steps/jumps/wrestling happening right above us. It woke me up one evening as I heard loud thump above me. This was brought to staff's attention, but assuming not much they can do other than warn them to refrain from making loud noises. Outdoor noises also can be heard and I could smell one of our neighbors smoking **** although this is a Nonsmoking property. Overall, my stay met what I needed. I know how hard it is to find workers in the Hospitality industry nowadays, so I thank you for working during this unprecedented time.

Just a few minutes walk from Disneyland entrance. Very family friendly hotel. The Pizza was great as well. The water park was ok. The water didn’t seem the cleanest. They probably used ALOT of chlorine because my kids eyes burned badly. We had to buy them goggles in order for them to be able to enjoy the water. Other than that, the hotel was really great. I would recommend for sure.

Arrived late Thursday night after landing at 10pm, told the hotel in advance to HOLD our room (as they may give it away when you don't show by midnight). Placed on 9th floor facing AWAY from Disney, but not a big deal. Hotel staff super friendly and accommodating ie. advised of a rented stroller arriving at 7am which they saved for us. Luggage stored on check out, complimentary lollipops for the kids, and loved how they asked if we require room service for our 4day stay in advance! Only special mention, the Toilet bowl in the room was very low, and filled with water very high. PLUS: Great access for kids to use the low toilet seat. CAUTION: Men, when squatting... be prepared to have your ”junk baptized” since the water level is high!

Excellent
GGuest UserHotel was very nice and staff was very helpful and friendly. The ART bus stops directly in front of the hotel making access to the parks very easy. You can also choose to walk which we did the first night but the ART bus is worth the $6 per day (or $16 for 3 day pass). Also had breakfast one morning at the restaurant which is a much better option than eating at the parks.
董董Breakfast is average. But you can eat enough. Service attitude is absolutely good! Great for children. Parking is also very convenient! The parking lot is next to the hotel. The hotel room is large in size.
GGuest UserMaritza Rocks!!! Anthony is Awesome!!! Adell is Cool!!! I needed to have my 3 rooms on the same floor and if possible to have 2 of them connect to each other. I understand how difficult it can be to have connecting rooms so I was hopeful. When I called, Maritza answered the phone and was SUPER friendly and willing to assist. I explained to her that I would be arriving by 2 PM and was hoping for the above as well as at least 1 room to have early check-in. Maritza not only took care of me, she amazed me!! She was able to secure 3 rooms on the same floor all close to each other and 2 of them were also connecting as requested. After that, she informed me that she could have all 3 rooms available for my early arrival as well. When I arrived Maritza was assisting another guest and Anthony checked me in. Anthony was also friendly and fun to engage with while completing the check-in process. Anthony is new to hotels and has been at this one for just about a year. You can really tell that his passion is hospitality. Adell was the 3rd team member that I had the pleasure of meeting while checking in. She has worked at another hotel before but is newer to this location and Sonesta. She too loves hospitality but enjoys wowing the guests after they come back from a long day at Disneyland. Update: my room lock stopped working and I had to call the desk for maintenance. It took 5 minutes and 11 seconds from me hanging up with the desk to maintenance fixing the lock. It took Maintance 2 minutes and 28 seconds to get the call from the desk and to come up to my room. Once he came up and saw what was needed it took him another 1 minute and 27 seconds to go back and retrieve tools and batteries to fix the lock. Once he had his tools He was able to fix the lock in 77 seconds. I am not sure if many will understand how great this is. I realize that responses aren’t typically this fast. However, a shoutout has to be made because they did this all in less than 6 minutes. That’s crazy!!!! Lastly, I have to shout out housekeeping for clean rooms. I always break down the room to inspect for bugs, dirt, or any other unwanted items. Not only were my 3 rooms super clean, they were dust free too! Great job to the Sonesta Anaheim for such a wonderful staff and leadership!!!
JJoybI’m writing this because it helped when I was looking to book a place for our trip to Disneyland and also I was happy with my stay. We stayed 3 nights here. I had stayed here before 20yrs ago. First, the castle theme is eye catching for the kids( my daughter is 17 and it was her 1st time to Disneyland) she thought it was cool. Place was clean, hot tub was hot and the pool was good temperature and all was clean. Well lit, no weird activities or people around. Good parking area. Room had a microwave and refrigerator that I wasn’t specifically looking for but it came in really handy. We ordered door dash and kept drink and left overs in frig. It’s close to restaurants, Starbucks, walgreen and of course Disneyland. I have a bad knee and It was close enough for me to walk without issues. It’s like 2 blocks away. I forgot to mention I needed a first floor room when I booked it and the staff made sure I got one. They did inform me that it is a bit noisier on the first floor which there were some noise but nothing crazy and I appreciated the information. People are on vacation so the place had early activity from guest but still not anything too noisy. I looked at hotels for hours trying to pick one for this trip. One I was going to pick also said it is close to Disneyland but I noticed it when we arrive in town and it was on the back side. This hotel is on the same street as the main entrance to Disneyland. We walked back to the hotel after midnight and the streets was well light as well as the hotel. I’m really glad I chose this hotel and I would stay here again. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay!
GGuest UserThe room was a bit of a let down initially with the bathtub not draining right but we fixed it and then one of their housekeepers cleaned our room so well and made the room even smell nice it was by far the best part of our trip after a super long grueling non stop day at Disneyland we were greeted with a nice fresh smelling room and all of our beds made up and superior cleanliness it was awesome. It was just that one day and so it had to of been a specific housekeeper. Wish I had gotten their name because it’s the little things like that which makes your stay all that much more enjoyable.
GGuest UserHotel was a short walk to the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure. Check in was very quick and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Parking was additional but not a deal breaker, although other hotels on the block do offer free parking. They do guarantee a spot for each room, so that is helpful. After parking we were contacted by staff to move our truck to a larger spot where it would be safer, very nice touch! The room was clean and easy to access by stairs or elevator. The common space for the room and bathroom were very small, but doable. Keurig type coffeemaker and coffee/tea provided in the room along with a mini fridge and microwave all in working order. Bed and pillows were comfy. I would definitely book again, especially at the rate we got on Trip.
GGuest UserIt's an easy walk to Anaheim Disney, less than 30 minutes away. Nearby buses are also available. There are plenty of shops around Disney, and there's also an APM (24-hour convenience store) next to the hotel. There are many hotels and shops for tourists around the area, so I didn't feel it was unsafe.
Although the unit bath was showing its age, the room was cleaned and towels were changed properly, and it was a comfortable stay. The mirror in the wash basin was large, which was great for traveling with multiple girls.
HHigbyThe security guard was very rude! He was hassling us as we were loading our car with our belongings. We had a long trip ahead of us so we had to organize our stuff in the car, which would have taken us about 20 mins AT THE MOST. With him constantly harassing us about taking too much time and us having to stop what we’re doing to speak with him it ended up taking us an hour to do the task. We also were traveling with my emotional support animal whom just had babies (2 kittens) and so they were in the car in a cage and he even started yelling while my husband was cleaning out the litter box which terrified our pets!! It’s crazy how unprofessional this man was.
On the other hand, the room itself was nice! I loved the layout, how there is a sliding door that separates the front half which is the bed, tv, and bathroom area. And then the back half has a sofa ( that can be pulled out into a bed) and a sofa chair, coffee table, and two end tables, the windows which do open, and an additional tv. It’s perfect for my husband whim likes to watch tv all night while I’m sleeping in the bed in the other area. They also have a great breakfast with a waffle maker!! So besides the security guard in the parking structure I had a great experience at this hotel.
GGuest UserThe Anaheim Convention and Exhibition Center is very close and can be walked. Disney/or the location is very good for meetings. For other requirements of the motel, don’t have too high expectations😄
GGuest UserThis hotel is just horrible. It absolutely does not look like the pictures at all. The room was filthy, hot and unsafe. There were Sketchy people loitering the lot and someone looking into the rooms. There was someone passed out on the stairs with what looked to be drugs The Broken AC was never fixed as asked and the room was hot and humid. The adjoining door to the other room was kicked in and literally screwed shut. The room was filthy, trash on the floor and a used syringe in the bathroom area. The sheets were lifting off the bed so we saw how dirty the mattress was. The staff or manager at the desk was unhelpful and very rude. Failed to address any issues and even locked us out on the second night. We had to be relocated by booking agency. I have never experienced a hotel so bad.
