This hotel is terrible! First of all, we made a reservation online. They didn’t charge by room, but by head (because all meals were included), but the price was still more expensive. A few minutes after the reservation was completed, we found that the number of people was wrong (two rooms for the five of us were actually enough. But two people and two rooms cost 1,500 per night, and five people and two rooms cost 3,750 per night), so we want to cancel. Ctrip made countless calls and emails to the hotel, but the hotel did not reply. Ctrip is very nice and responsible! But the hotel did it on purpose. They said they would give us a preferential price at the front desk, but they didn’t!
After arriving at the hotel, they told us that 1,000 yuan would be enough for 2 people in a room for one night. They would help us cancel the online reservation tomorrow, so that we could rest assured and stay happily. The next day they changed their attitude and told us that the hotel could not be canceled and we had to pay the original price, which was much more expensive. If we had known better, we would have changed hotel! We were not even allowed to go out to see the animals without paying, which delayed us for an hour. We were threatened with all kinds of threats, and we had no choice but to give the money!
Lightning protection! ! ! All kinds of cold looks! ! There is no hot water, there is no wifi in the room, there are many mosquitoes, and the curtains are still broken.

Beautiful accommodation situated in Amboseli National Park, we had a fantastic stay here with fabulous food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Our room was clean and turned down each evening, with mosquito nets popped down. Lovely bar & restaurant with great staff who were welcoming. We loved the lookout tower with great views of Kilimanjaro and the animals visiting their watering hole. I highly recommend their nature walk, it was very interesting and gave a great insight into how the Massai treat different ailments, the local habitat etc. We used the pool each day we were there and it was lovely, visited by the most beautiful dragonflies!

Really nice experience! Beautiful houses for families and couples. Really good food and nice people. Looking forward to come again. The food was awesome and really lovely. Many aminals near by the lodges. At night you can take a little walk to have an own little night safari. 5 of 5.

Kilima Safari Camp is an ideal location for visiting Amboseli. Amid a beautiful setting, wooded walkways take you to individual cabins. The cabins have everything you need including a comfortable bed, fine bath, and evocative and functional decor, but adding plugs beside the bed and making the lighting less dim would improve the guest experience. The observation platform atop the restaurant provides excellent views of the surrounding plains. The trees and grounds also host wildlife, including magnificent birds, a few warthogs peacefully munching on the grass and even a zebra that we encountered on our way to our cabin. The very fine food in the restaurant offers tremendous variety from European, Indian, Asian, and East African cuisines prepared and served superbly. Not fine dining, but perfect for the hungry traveler on safari. One of our party had a birthday on our second evening and the staff led our group in a lively celebration. Recommend Kilima Safari Camp wholeheartedly.

Excellent location five minutes from park entrance. Nice grounds with vervets, warthogs and kudus running around. Spacious room/tent. I would have liked to give 5 stars. While the service was good and the food fair, not quite five star level. Also the bed was too hard.

Posto molto bello, caratteristico, abbastanza pulito, ma c'erano tanti insetti, molti anche spiaccicati sul muro e non rimossi, con ragnatele. Confrontandoci con altri ragazzi, forse era solo la nostra stanza, perché loro non hanno trovato vermi ecc. Per il resto nulla da ridire: personale sempre col sorriso, accogliente, gentile, e buffet molto buono. I luoghi esterni ti danno la sensazione di camminare in mezzo alla natura. Consiglio comunque.

We were there on 31 August and it conveniently located near Kamala gate of Ambosli park overlooking the height peak in Africa Kilimanjaro. The camps are fantastic , views beautiful and the food very good. The staff is highly courteous. Excellent place to stay. No time wasted in entering park and we had excellent sightings.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Gruppensafari hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage ist sehr schön eingebettet in die Natur, es sind moderne Zelte mit gutem Bad, man merkt kaum, dass man in einem Zelt ist. Die Wege können je nach Lage des Zeltes etwas weiter sein, man sollte daher vielleicht nach einer Lage in der Nähe des Pools oder Rezeption fragen. Service ist sehr sehr freundlich, der Pool ist riesig und kühl, man bekommt Handtücher und Service an der Liege. Toll ist auch der Aussichtsturm, hier kann man tolle Sonnenuntergänge und die Savanne sehen. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, man muss immer bedenken man ist mitten in der Savanne, davür ist alles oppulent. Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier daher hatten wir nicht so viel Zeit alles zu genießen, kann die Unterkunft aber empfehlen.

After reading some bad reviews from a group of disgruntled travelers about a year ago, I had some trepidation about the quality of the stay. However, all those concerns were unfounded. Staff was welcoming and professional, the tent itself was clean and well appointed. By the time we returned from our morning game drive around 9 am the room had already been tidied up and the bed made. We stayed for two nights and had a total of 6 meals while there - all of which were buffet style with a good variety that was never the same twice. There are wildlife that live on site so be prepared to see perhaps a family of warthogs, monkeys, dikdiks, and even a gazelle - as well as a multitude of the most beautiful starlings (I think they were the Superb Starling) I’ve ever seen. Mornings you are greeted by birdsong and ideally, a clear view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The pool area is serene and well kept. Granted, there may be some minor cosmetic issues but this is a safari camp and to be expected. The only deficit was the numerous bottle caps, and other small pieces of plastic (a dental floss pick, for example) that were scattered in the grassy area by the fire pit - and this more out of concern for the wildlife that may ingest them. That is the only thing that I would suggest be improved upon as far as cleanliness. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay. If I ever return to this part of the world I would stay here again.
