Hotels Near Daikumatenbo Park in Amami

Owner Kubota-san was welcoming, and the place was clean, had everything one would need overnight, and the location was perfect! I'd come back.

Hotel Caretta was an excellent choice. Nearby to the airport and located next to the beach. Room was spacious, clean and hotel had nice amenities. WiFi was good, water clean, Staff very friendly. The hotel had bicycles available for guest use. There was a dive resort next door for those whom wanted to explore the ocean. The hotel had an on site restaurant that had great food (breakfast and dinner) and there were nearby izakayas for those whom wanted to try local places. Great time and would love to return. Great location! However, there are few opportunities to interact with the locals. (no restaurants nearby) Just right for BBQ. I live with two women, but is there a college student next door? I find it very loud.

I stayed here for one night during my trip to Amami! The room was very clean and stylish, and the smartphone charging facilities were perfect and easy to use. The location from the room was also great! I had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was delicious. (Ise lobster pasta, local fish stewed in wine) The stargazing event that started at 9pm was also very satisfying, as I was able to listen to many stories about the stars while looking at the Amami sky!
