The room was absolutely amazing and the bed was the most comfortable I ever slept in, much more comfortable than my bed at home. Jeep Tour was nice as well with tasty pakore and Masala Chai. We saw hiran fighting and interesting vegetables and trees. Unfortunately I was the only guest during dinner so I will never stay again during the week. There were a few other guests but it seems they had room service. This is such a pity because the dining room is so wonderful, hard to find any similar. But being the only guest in this fantastic room was not a nice feeling. Food was very good but unfortunately no buffet breakfast. A big minus was that there wasn't hot water at a quarter past six in the morning 😰. Although they promised that hot water was available from 6 to 10 in the morning. I will go again but only during weekend when there are a lot of other guests and it's full of life. The had life music in the courtyard as well but same problem - nobody there to enjoy. So only on weekends

During our recent tour of Rajasthan, we stayed at the Alsisar Mahal and were overjoyed by the whole experience of a memorable stay. The Mahal transports you back to an era right out of history textbooks. The rural setting and a majestic palace with a backdrop of sandy plains, the venue for an eclectic musical extravaganza. The rooms are, indeed, "palatial" and the highlight is the uninterrupted sunset and sunrise views. Very few places offer a clear view of both, and Alsisar Mahal is one of those. Food is amazing and to the taste of a varied group of clientele. Badal Mahal and high tea at the Badal Mahal are mentionworthy.

Alsisar Mahal was a beautiful experience. We stayed two nights in the super luxury room that was enormous. They had taken care to ensure that there was adequate heating as it was bitterly cold. The room is divided into three sections and is really comfortable with adequate seating to entertain. The bathroom is also huge and well spaced. The decor is charming. It’s a great balance between being ethnic and not being an overkill. A window looks out into a delightful neem tree and the world within that. There are several interesting spaces within the property to keep you busy- a vintage jeep collection, a dungeon bar , a lovely pool, a temple, a sunset safari and so on. The dining room is large and can seat a vast number of people. This is the only part that made it look like a commercial property. The staff are really warm, hospitable and helpful. The food too is quite good with both buffet and a la carte options. The town itself is charming and has quite a few sights. It’s central and several other places of interest are within close driving distance. It was a great start to our holiday

A beautiful fort converted to a heritage hotel, New portions also added but are similar to heritage part. Rooms are spacious clean well lit. Staff polite and curious. Food is exceptionally tasty but for any special choice you need to tell in advance. Bathrooms could have been better if blue tiles were used. Jeep Safari in the name of desert Safari is disappointing because you have an image of sand dunes other wise its good as driver and another staff try their best to make it memorable.

This place has the most pathetic and heartless staff. I went there with my wife and 2 year old kid and the staff even refused to serve us a glass of water leave alone any food, I have video recording as well for want of proof is required. You don't deny water even to an enemy. We interacted with a few people who were staying there and they also shared horrendous experience of the place. No point of going to this overhyped , overpriced place. The management thinks they are riding a high horse of self importance smelling like roses. A place like Rajasthan where guests are treated like God everywhere, this place desecrated me and my family. My only advice to whosoever reading this review is - please avoid this place for your stay, you won't regret my advice.
