Ich war geschäftlich in Alpen, und wurde herzlich und überaus freundlich vom Inhaber persönlich empfangen. Vom hervorragenden Frühstücksbüffet bis zur Ausstattung und Sauberkeit des Zimmers gab es absolut nichts zu meckern. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Wenn ich wieder in der Nähe bin werde ich dieses Hotel gerne wieder buchen.

Ich kann mich den positiven Bewertungen leider nicht anschließen, denn ein Hotel lebt vor allem vom Personal. Die Rezeptionistin war zwar sehr bemüht, doch leider hat das unangenehme Verhalten des Chefs den Aufenthalt verdorben. Für uns nicht noch einmal, denn es gibt in der Umgebung wirklich gute Alternativen.

Central location with underground parking. Modern rooms with comfortable beds. The rooms are a good size. The bathroom is also new and modern. I don't understand why more and more operators are moving away from having a shower door. After a shower, half the bathroom is under water. :-) The breakfast buffet had everything you would expect.

I was travelling on business in March. I came across this lovely hotel by chance. The welcome was very warm. I would not have expected such a lovely, spacious room in this small town. There was also nothing to complain about with the extensive breakfast buffet. I would definitely go back. The Burgschänke has a new regular. PS: The food in the attached restaurant is also brilliant

Right hotel in center of town but very quiet, modern rooms with air conditioning, many with balcony, breakfast buffet with large variety of food. Parking garage available.
Very friendly staff!
Restaurant in-house with terrace for summer evenings.
Perfectly located for trips to Xanten, the river Rhine or into the Netherlands.

Pro: - Modern and spacious rooms (comfort rooms) including air conditioning - Very clean rooms - The breakfast is varied and delicious - Nice and helpful staff - Despite the central location, really quiet rooms (even facing the main road) - Well-insulated rooms Cons: - The restaurant in the hotel always seems to be closed
