Fabulous hotel with amazing staff. One of our party was injured on day 1, the manager provided us with crutches, nothing was too much trouble! The restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful each day and the food was amazing, plenty of choice. The spa, pool and sun terrace were all fantastic! We had a fabulous room, very spacious. We’ll definitely be back!

Das Hotel Alphof ist ein toll geführtes Haus. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sauber, das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen sehr gut, vielseitig und frisch gekocht. Wir waren das erste Mal im Alpbachtal und haben die Gegend mit dem Bike und zu Fuss erkundigt. Und schätzten so die Alpbach-Card. Wir kommen wieder :-) Familie G. und Familie C. aus der Schweiz

Have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at this lovely hotel (Inghams customers). didn’t want to leave! The staff here are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast buffet is excellent, the evening menu is good, choice for the main course is taken in the morning at breakfast, portion sizes varied, couldn’t fault the service and good wine list. Our room was a good size and spotless, very comfy beds Just a couple of things to mention. A kettle in the room would have been useful, also storage…. no drawers. Only a few coat hangers in the wardrobe, I requested some more and that was no problem. We enjoyed the swimming pool and spa, particularly the steam room, great after a day’s walking! A brilliant stay , looking forward to returning and will be highly recommending

Wij hebben met 2 kinderen van 5 en 7 jaar 10 dagen verbleven in hotel Alphof. Vanaf bij de aankomst tot vertrek werden we steeds zeer vriendelijk bediend. Het hotel is gelegen in het mooie Alpbachtal. Vanuit het hotel is het een 3Km voor de dichtbijzijnde kabelbaan gedurende de zomerperiode. De kamers waren ruim/net en aangenaam. Onze kinderen verbleven ook heel graag in het zwembad. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Het diner was oké maar ook niet meer dan dat. Wij kunnen het hotel zeker aanbevelen aan gezinnen met jonge kinderen.

BEWARE - this hotel doesn’t give you your drinks bill to sign, even when asked, they say it is automatic. At the end of the week we found we had been charged for tap water every night, regardless of what other drinks we’d purchased. This was not something we’d encountered in Austria before. Also 2 drinks were not ours on the Wednesday, when queried at the end of the week, when all the unsigned receipts were on our Invoice, their answer was “you should sign each night, it’s on all the documentation”. Not impressed!

Travelled with my wife and booked through Inghams Lakes and Mountains. The hotel is very traditional with some excellent facilities Pool, Sauna Steam Room and a cosy bar area. The panorama sun deck at the top of the hotel took a bit of finding but was worth the effort providing spectacular 360 ° views. The room was good with powerful shower and very spacious With a settee and table and chairs with a balcony with vies of the Gratlspitz. The walking in the area was great with many well marked paths to follow, with something for all levels of ability.
