We had booked a superior studio for a night prior to a flight home (using some Tesco Clubcard points). The location is close to the airport and staff on reception were helpful and friendly. Our room, however, was diabolical. I found three hairs in my bed (possibly animal), the air conditioner was dripping outside on the balcony and the smell of damp out there and in the room was intolerable and not healthy. We had to turn it off. The room was dated and furniture scuffed. The toilet seat was like spongy cardboard with all of the damage to it. So gross. Taped up fire blanket. Light switch on bathroom mirror hanging down on a loose cable. Bathroom over door heater rusting. Microwave oven that didn’t look safe. Because we had prebooked the room using Tesco Clubcard points we didn’t bother complaining as we wouldn’t have got a refund. Had to sleep with the door open because the air con smelt so bad and we had a dreadful nights sleep as there were cats fighting outside on and off all night. The pool looked ok but there were two taped cordoned off areas next to it that were unusable. Breakfast was ok and the staff were pleasanf. Just a horrible experience and we won’t be staying there again. Will attach photos!
